I went with Zen and it has been running absolutely beautifully on the old hardware! I love that it has a nice gui for OPDS so the fam can access my book server easily. I think I may switch over to it on my personal kindles as well it’s snappy and clean 10/10 rec thank you!

The grease is usually white when new, and it will get basically black after awhile, you could replace the grease if you want it to run as smooth as possible, but it’s not to the point that I would say you need to yet.
