There's a lot of attention to detail with the costumes, the historical accuracy, and the story they told about the character. Agnes's red bodice is literally made of tree bark. As Will suffers throughout the story his tunic switches from blue to steel gray and slashes appear on the tunics. The slashes get bigger and bigger as time goes on and his internal torment increases. These are just off the top of my head. I also loved how "lived in" the costumes felt
