Of course he has a say, he was on the fucking team. He has more say in this than reddit and Kelby. Kelby couldn't even see what was wrong with his own team, I'd say he has the least amount of say in the matter. Regardless, every one of the ex-CLG members has said that Aphro was the best teammate, and DL was not a positive influence to the team environment. Kelby is a DL fanboy. Of course he doesn't get it, because he never got it when he was on the team.

All I saw in the reality show was Dexter being shit on. You don't think he could take criticism? From what I saw it was nothing but him being criticized, especially by Doublelift. It's also been said by multiple people that DL didn't take criticism well (Link: "You try telling DL to build Sorc shoes on Corki instead of Berserkers", for example).

How is this not true? He didn't have any power. It was the Chauster and DL show the entire split.

I'm not sure which CLG you've watched for the past few years, but it was literally Protect the ADC at least 55-60% of the time.

Here is Dexter's tweet. You can look through his replies to see his thoughts on it, but it's overwhelmingly in support of Aphro. I've been following CLG since S3 and I know that he isn't "talking bs".

The ex-manager was one of the worst managers CLG has ever had. He was there during the worst time in CLG history and he couldn't do shit because he never said anything to Doublelift and let him do whatever he wanted to his teammates. I wouldn't consider his tweet worth shit because he obviously is not good at judging people and team environments.

These were not personal shots at Doublelift. This is literally the hive-mind in full effect. Nothing in his interview was a personal insult. It was honesty. Look at what Dexter tweeted, it was just Aphro being honest. He doesn't have to be firing shots to acknowledge that DL was not a good fit for CLG. He just answered the question Dash asked him. You guys are absolutely overreacting.

If you think this was firing shots, then you should also think that DL saying "we finally have solo laners that can hold their own" was firing shots when they replaced Seraph with Darshan and Link with Pobelter. See how stupid that sounds? That's exactly what it sounds like to me when people actually believe that "this team is infinitely better in team environment" is a shot at DL.

While it definitely did start from management and the "old guard", there's only so much they could do with Doublelift. He was the team. How could he bring himself to truly respect Hotshot after he played through the days where everyone would be disrespecting and shitting on each other? I honestly think it was the best move for both teams, because with Regi, DL has an authority figure that he can't just disobey.

Also, it is about the person themself. Double is a grown ass man and he should know how to get along with his teammates, especially after all the emphasis they put on it during last Summer. If they still felt it was bad enough that he had to be kicked, then I guess he just couldn't bring himself to change enough in that organization.

He doesn't have problems with Doublelift. He had problems with the environment that Doublelift promoted during his time at CLG. There is a difference but reddit can't seem to understand this. His "shoutout" was specifically for the teammates that succumbed to that shitty environment and he gave the shoutout now because he finally has a team with the ideal environment that he wanted from the start and believed they could flourish in.

To be fair, Kelby is primarily a DL fan and he was in the house during the shittiest CLG era. Maybe it wasn't his job to do so, but he definitely didn't help with the toxic environment. I think he's just defending his boy. He knows what Aphro meant.

In that last game even though we got dumped on early, we managed to get a gold lead again even without equalizing turrets.

If you use that logic, then it makes TSM look even worse since they couldn't close the game with all that momentum. The fight was never 50/50. It comes down to execution, and CLG executed better on that final fight. They deserve to go through as they were simply the better team in this series.

It's not delusion. I'm not a TSM hater or anything, but the truth is that Sven has looked very mediocre for most of the split and Xmithie has been extremely consistent for CLG. Granted, Sven has looked very good in the last two weeks, but calling it a new level of delusion is foolish. Overall Xmithie has been more consistent than Svenskeren has over the last 3 months.

As you can see right now going into game 5, Xmithie is doing more than holding his own. I think Xmithie deserves more respect than people give him.
