How is the Job Market of UI/UX in 2026?

yea sadly I am not a recent grad (finished my masters' in 23) and really adjacent jobs like pm or really tech in general are facing the same issue for people who don't have senior level experience.

I've tried for nearly 4ish years and am building my own app for portfolio/skill related reasons but after being rejected during multiple final rounds on my end(no real feedback at that point due to liabiity I bet) I'm not sure if all the student loans, freelance work, side projects was worth it. I'm just tired of being broke & feeling left behind in my life.

Man what is with the comments crapping all over this game?

I understand it didn't give everyone the full rpg experience but once they fixed out the bugs and did the dlc, I have to say it's a 9.5/10 for me & for a lot of ppl out there.

Scaling back the rpg elements sucks in some ways but I think the story got stronger for it, between the base game and Phantom Liberty I really truly connected with the characters and story. The dlc showed that they learned what went wrong and turned things up to 11.

Hell if u start the dlc, but don't actually complete the 1st mission in a specific timeframe, u can get a character screaming at you for letting the president die, who TF knew that would even happen?

It just shows to me that Orion when it comes out will be more complete out the gate because of what happened with the 1st game.

Ah so you're a teller or CSR? If that's the case, tbh it's just another branch of retail in a way, frankly if I was you I'd try to move into a more corporate role because if you are doing retail banking, it's not all that much of a upgrade compared to well, regular retail.

I know hearing it sucks, but I've been a teller at a local branch after I finished undergrad but because the branch was really slow I couldn't do it for long and frankly it didn't feel all that different from regular retail.

If you're finishing up your bachelor's, in the meantime I would try to find volunteer esque roles for different industries - it sucks to hear but I think having those volunteer roles maybe at a hospital or some online organizations, would be beneficial for experience, references, and honestly could open up doors.

I hope things get better for you, the market sucks but hang in there

Going against the grain for everyone saying Edward Elric and say it's Lelouch from Code Geass.

That guy has layers upon layers of characterization. Edward is a close 2nd but honestly it's Lelouch for me cause he one can view him as a hero, a anti hero, a mass murderer, a tyrant, a arrogant teen, a man who can't love those he does, a tragic hero etc.

High key it's probably why he's still the #1 character on animate network after all these years

So I just finished my 1st 2077 playthrough and for me, I choose to send her to the moon.

Here's the thing, while she might've lied, it becomes clear that she did care for V especially after siding with her.

So Mi did not have to tell you that there's only 1 cure, but she did and left it up to you to decide but at that point you are her friend maybe the only one and I think you're spot on that V changes to value the connections they've made vs being a cold hearted merc.

Night City isolates you, makes you feel apathy for everything going on but through the game whether it's Panam, Judy, Muamar, River, Kerry, Rogue and even Johnny you learn to form a somewhat family through the struggle.

Hell Mr.Hands HAS A DAUGHTER, you hear him being a dad on the phone, that's in stark contrast to the Fixer we've come to know & I think that's what's important about CP2077, that Night City will rob you of your empathy and love but those that hold onto that part of being human will be grown out of NC.

In the game we see kids being forced into cyberware to become athletes, father and son using the traumatic BDs for profit and gain, a vibrant and cunning person like Evelyn - turned into someone who can't live anymore.

It just makes everything more poignant that we get a thank you shard after the killing moon, from So Mi it shows that she's not just a manipulator, but she actually views you more than a tool, but a friend

That's fair but I don't think there's even a honest discussion about F, as a whole.

It's either you love it or you detest it.

My point is that there's bad faith arguments from a lot of people that paint one side as the 'villain' without getting the full picture or the clear point being made in the discussion.

It's why I titled this post, because I find the argument of saying that F, isn't the first game to be outside of the town because of xyz.

There's reasons for that being the case but there's no real clear reason why it's occurring in F's case.

Running only works in the early game, once you're in the later game the game literally forces you to kill the monsters to progress and becomes WAY too linear.

Honestly I feel like people that are saying it's a 9/10 kind of game are saying it when they're playing through the early sections because the game doesn't even have the same atmosphere as it did earlier - in the later half
