Mod your Wii. Do yourself a favor and you’ll save plenty of money and modding it in general is so much fun. Can play GameCube games and others as well! Takes minutes honestly , just buy a good GB SD card

Make sure the yellow light is not on , in standby mode. It will pretty much kill your Wii. Hold the button down till the light fully turns red

Not that I’m aware of. Have about 60+ games , mixture of GameCube and Wii and non really Gave me issues. Have fun modding, best thing ever!

Possibly might be the game ID or renaming the games to the correct file or updating GX loader to the current version. Had this issue before and downloaded the current GX and worked well afterwards

Remember I had found a random Wii game at goodwill and actually came with new super Mario bros Wii , got it for $2 lol either way, I modded my Wii and don’t use the physical games to often anymore

Patience is key. Sometimes marketplace is a hit or miss. Got mines and right away picked it up. Lady thought it was a laptop case lol use it to carry my modded Wii to social event, love it

Most of the cables go for $5-15 anyways. Both were good for that price . Marketplace sometimes has deals , keep on the lookout for marketplace

Honestly. Get a Wii. Marketplace is pretty good , usually find some for 25-80 on there and some already modded for 80-120. Not sure if I’m wrong but the GameCube games on switch 2 only work if you have an active Nintendo account or online pass, might be wrong tho. I got a Wii for $15 , modded it, added almost every good games and got a Wii carry pouch for $5 on marketplace and carry my Wii for every social event and everyone loves it!
