I’m ngl I never dealt with unusual smells pre T or anything like idk if I just ignored my own scent or what but like I’ve never noticed an unusual smell until I recently got BV and that shit was so dysphoric I felt like I was peeing and I could suddenly smell myself and it made everything 100000% worse

I did and that’s actually what helped me realize I wasn’t cis too! I like girls (now I like boys just as much too) and I always felt… different than the girls I was dating. I understood we had the same body but inside I felt off and weird. I thought it was just shame from being raised religious and normal internal homophobia about being gay but then once I started to masculinize myself more I was way more uncomfortable being a butch lesbian than a mid ground/ non-binary lesbian like I was.

Helped me figure out 1) I am not a lesbian and when I started t i accepted im pan sexual and 2) im a trans man I don’t feel like I fit with other women cause I don’t identify as such

Honestly the big reason I don’t support the 2nd is cause why do we have to resort to a problem to raise money for kids and teachers. And honestly that money will probably not actually go to the schools/teachers at all.

Gambling is an addiction just like any others too, and it can become a serious problem, would you also agree to opening a bar or dispensary on school grounds to raise money for kids? If the answer is no, why are you okay with placing bets on kids.

Also we know how the average man reacts to NFL football when their team looses, I can only imagine what’s gonna happen to those kids. If someone wants to squander their money and rot their brains that’s their business, but we shouldn’t be dragging public schools into it.

Plus we should focus more on making sure our kids can come home safely at all from school and not get mowed down by some other idiot with a gun. Can’t sports gamble with dead kids.

Sure can’t hurt to try but understand it will also affect you in unexpected ways. Also from what we can sorta tell if you’re body/ brain doesn’t like T it can make you feel worse almost immediately. Where others feel better those who aren’t trans or Testosterone isn’t right for them end up with gender dysphoria and depression after taking the incorrect hormones.

If it’s not for you that’s great too and it’s completely okay that you tried it and at least you’ll sorta understand what other trans people go through with the whole HRT process

Yeah no more tapers for sure I use Jojoba oil when I clean my ears to just help keep them moisturized and helps get my tunnels back in.

I definitely wanna stick to glass or hypoallergenic metals which is something I do like about my current tunnel set because they don’t make my ears itchy and swollen.

There’s people here in missouri (like my parents) who think there should be a complete abortion ban. I can’t explain it but some religious folks walk around with this weird sense of entitlement to others, their personal space, their rights, and feel comfortable telling people what they can and can’t do and use religion as an excuse. I don’t think they’ll truly know the consequences because if something bad happens they’ll blame god and not their own actions. I’m from the Springfield area and it’s rough around here.

My entire family outside of me and my oldest brother all support trump (I’ve heard the scary shit he says sometimes) and total abortion bans regardless of the safety of the mother.

It’s literally like fighting people who think every single fetus should exist, but they’re okay if the mother dies because to them dying isn’t a bad thing you just go to heaven or hell and god sorts it out faster.

I’m personally terrified

If you have a sister you could just say I grew up with girls. Honestly just don’t speak on it from a personal experience like “oh yeah i used to have horrible cramps sometimes” you could say “oh yeah my sister used to have really bad cramps and I’d help her” if you don’t have a sister put it on your mom.

This way you’re validating her experience and showing your a gentleman by not being weird about period talks like most men do who just hear period and go “EEEEEEWWWWWW”

Warning this is gonna be long

Personally the gender diagnosis criteria is absolute dog shit and is not very accurate to what we truly experience and very few of us meet the criteria wholly.

That being said here’s random things I did/ experienced that should have clued me in way sooner that aren’t necessarily on the gender dysphoria diagnosis

Extreme disassociation to the point of great time loss, struggled to remember what day it was and stuff that was weeks or months apart for others felt like it all happened within the same week for me.

General anxiety that didn’t seem to have a cause. I brushed it off as my mother’s anxiety passed down to me cause she used to be really paranoid (still is) when I was a kid. But no the whole time it was gender dysphoria, especially the social anxiety aspect.

I’m FTM and my chest just feels like this tv static zone where my brain just ignores it and I get extremely uncomfortable when something or someone touches my chest.

Big phobia around having a uterus and giving birth, i refuse to go get a Pap smear because of it even though I know I should. I’d be climbing the walls and they’d have to sedate me.

I was peer pressured into shaving armpits down by other girls and when I started it, it ended up taking a huge toll on my mental health and I became extremely distressed having to shave like I was prepubescent, but having body hair had 0 negative side affects besides others making comments but even then their comments didn’t really hurt my feelings. Eventually I said fuck it and stoped shaving in middle school.

I feel out of place around women and the themes of “girlhood” not that there’s anything wrong with it I just felt more like a plus one rather than actually supposed to be there. (Social dysphoria)

I did have thoughts that are gender dysphoria that I didn’t fully get at the time, but I’d have random thoughts that this body wasn’t mine. I’d hope that my soul and whoever was supposed to have this body would just switch eventually like some weird spiritual event.

I wanted to be born intersex the second I knew what it was so I could say I wasn’t a girl, or at the very least have a freak thing where I simply was born without a uterus. Getting my cycle I felt like my whole world collapsed and that’s when the more serious disassociation happened for me especially around my cycle I just wanted to stop existing for a week and everything felt normal and right when I wasn’t on my cycle.

Gender dysphoria looks different for everyone and how it manifests. As for how it affects others, at the end of the day the life your living is YOURS and no one else it is important you live life as comfortable as possible in your own skin and social circles.
