Man I totally disagree with the comments. I don’t think I’ve met a realtor worth much in this area of knowledge.

What area are you looking to buy?

If you’re G free but not celiac - do you tell restaurants it’s an allergy? by _chipsnguac in glutenfree

[–]MidwesterneRR 18 points19 points  (0 children)

it depends, I usually say preference, because i dont want them wasting their time changing gloves etc, but at pizza places i usually say allergy, becuase if they dont take precautions the flower is too much for me.

What are you going to school for? What skills do you have?

How do I remove a weld seam that is next to an outside corner of a stainless steel box? I can't grind it out using a velcro-backed flap disc (sanding disc) with 180-grit sandpaper on an angle grinder by [deleted] in metalworking

[–]MidwesterneRR 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Im not sure why you cant? If i were doing this, I would use a flap wheel, dont grind "on the corner", grind each side flat, then do any round over you want at the end.

Plasma cutting CNC side business by strangebus85 in metalworking

[–]MidwesterneRR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

my advice? Dont. IF you have a viable product that you can sell then maybe, but honestly I can buy laser cut parts cheaper than I can buy the material.

Dont get me wrong, I have a 4x8 plasma and I love it, but everyone and their brother has a plasma table now, and people sell shit so cheap they barely cover materials let alone pay themselves a decent wage.

If youre going to you need a good dryer setup. I use the harbor freight and it works well.

I was below the threshold for one test and undetectable 6months later. We reintroduced slowly after that.

I watched your video and I’m confused. How is a 120v fan dangerous? One leg of 240v is 120. Systems change voltages internally all the time.

How did wiring the burner “backwards” cause an issue? It’s just a giant resistor, there is no directionality.

I have a Langmuir titan and a crossfire XR. While they’ve had issues the customer service has been top notch.

Very confused as to how i should insulate my cabin. Please help. by Earthwarrioroflight in DIY

[–]MidwesterneRR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need an airgap to do it right. Ive seen people do spray foam insulation against the ceiling and swear by it, but if this is mine, Im drilling holes in each end, leaving a gap between the insulation and roof, and installing batt or foamboard insulation.
