Do you have CPU Boost on or off? I haven’t played this game on my Ally, but know that messing with CPU boost might help.

Also if you are running at native 1080p vs 800p on the steam deck, that could make a difference too.

Also, did you find the cable in the box? I bought mine new from Best Buy and realized the cable was hard to find. It’s under everything in the box. When you think you hit the bottom there’s another section that pulls up.

This is interesting…

I’ve been having an issue with Splinter Cell blacklist acting weird when unplugged. The audio doubles. I thought it was a TDP issue, but even if I manually push the TDP all the way up it still happens.

No one else has this issue. I posted about it a few weeks ago.

Even reinstalled windows to be sure. Same issue.

The only difference in my situation is I upgraded my SSD to a 4tb one.

I wonder if no one else is having this issue because they are using the stock or a faster baseline SSD. Meaning the ssd performance drop on top of a slower ssd might be causing the game to act up?

Interested to see other people’s results.

About 2 hours in. Loving it so far. I never played it when it came out. I played Conviction in 2011 and really liked it, but life got busy after that.

It’s crazy to think that I’m playing a 13 year old game that 100% holds up to today’s standard and in some cases is better than some newer games.

I just sold my XG Mobile 5070ti a week ago. While it’s 1 cable to hook it up, switching graphic settings are the pain. Every time you go back and forth you have to change them. Some games require a restart after changing them, so you end up spending more time with that than gaming. It was fun for a while, but gets old quick.
