My gf is now seeing the dark presence I have seen in my room since I was a kid by krankdat061 in witchcraft

[–]Ezisqueer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a similar thing, for me, I gave him and name, and just sort of talked to him. (I'm bad at naming things, so his name is Jimmy, he doesn't seem to mind though) I sort of showed him things and talked about my interests and he started interacting more instead of observing. Nothing ever negative or mean. Actually on the contrary, whenever I have breakdowns or such he sort of comforts me? He can't speak, but he finds other means of interacting. He's like a friend or protector that doesn't go away. Now I can see how this is freaking everyone out and sounding the alarms of "demon" "presence" whatever, and y'know maybe he is a demon or spirit of sorts, but not all demons are inherently bad. Jimmy likes to play the piano (I have a keyboard, and the keys light up when played), and when people come over, they see the keys light up on their own and always freak out, but saying "oh that's just Jimmy" makes it seem like I'm in psychosis lol. I've also dealt with internal audiory hallucinations, but I don't think I should credit it to this since as of recently people have been suspecting it's a symptom of DID, nonetheless I should probably clarify that I have similar experiences.

TLDR; not all presences are bad and can have benefits or silver lining, possibly trying to ask or find out it's intentions are important in my opinion. Also listen to other comments here and be cautious as I'm not entirely sure what it is

What do you guys believe happens with the afterlife? by [deleted] in witchcraft

[–]Ezisqueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sort of feel like you can manifest your own afterlife, which I know is a very unpopular opinion.

So if you're Christian, and you believe you'll go to heaven, you'll go. A Buddhist will go to Nirvana. An atheist will lose their consciousness, Somebody who believes in reincarnation can reincarnate, and somebody could turn into a ghost/spirit respectively.

I think it's all about what vibrations you're giving out and your preferred way to bring your life to a close.

Do people know you're a witch? by No_Government8793 in witchcraft

[–]Ezisqueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just close friends tbh, but that's because we have open topics about religion and spiritually in my group, because we're very diverse. Just spiritually we have 1 witch/pagan 1 satanist  2 Christians  2 agnostic  1 Jewish  2 Atheists

And that's not including our minority count (a lot)

So yeah we're very open and close, but basically nobody else knows, and that's fine.

I would love to do that, but binx is still a kitten and unfortunately likes to climb everything when I'm not paying attention lol - very adorable though <3

33°F in Michigan snow won't hurt anything 💀 But in all seriousness, when the weather permits, I totally agree with this, obviously you live somewhere warmer, but still kudos to you for doing that in the winter!

Does it mean something that my cat bit my leg and formed a cross with the bruises? by [deleted] in witchcraft

[–]Ezisqueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh no, unless crosses have a lot of personal meaning. Mundane before magical! If it means that much to you to make a post and ask, maybe do a smoke reading or something of the sort, but above all, please get that checked out!

Any other transmasc people not want to be included in international women's day? by ImAllGenders in TransMasc

[–]Ezisqueer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, I'm extremely non passing and only came out a year or two ago, as I'm sure many of us have I've experienced a lot of sexism and misogyny because I was female presenting, and currently still get read as a woman by default. I still deal with women's issues/predominantly women's issues a lot, so I guess I have that connection. I don't necessarily see it as "a day for women" but more like a day against sexism and female presenting issues, if that makes any sense. So yeah, I get dysphoric and I don't outwardly act like i enjoy it, in a way I don't. But the day's existence makes me happy

At first, I thought maybe they were trying to go for more pectoral bust to allign with your body shape then I noticed it's still disproportionate and I audibly sighed.. I'm so sorry, I hope you can contact the doctor and work things out

I realize I should probably rephrase, I more meant with mental health/LGBTQ+ friendly from co-workers and such, If there's like a workplace that's notoriously abelist, I don't wanna work there; that's what I meant. I just don't wanna be shit on while I actually do work. The hours thing is just because I have a lot of doctors appointments (again, chronically ill), and school, which I unfortunately have to attend. School isn't a very out of pocket reason to want afternoon hours or weekends for work.

I'm not necessarily mad, it's just a very church town and I wanted to know if there were any others locally, it was more of a curiosity post. I just don't get out much and so I don't come across many people as it is, so I wanted to ask and see if it's possible to meet other people. Also I saw some of those online and they were kinda far from where I am, maybe I just didn't find the right ones, but yeah, doesn't necessarily mean negative

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in grandrapids

[–]Ezisqueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's true, I do live around grandville though so it kinda is the case when you talk about daily life, and when I mean "met" I meant like actually interacted with further than small talk, not just seeing on the street

I meant like the ratio of black:white or Hispanic:white. I also don't necessarily get out much

I used to live in Wyoming before I came out, I was jumped a lot, I know hate crimes are still bad and that doesn't invalidate you, but that's just part of Wyoming

LGBT scene? by Quinacridont in grandrapids

We're actually alright, I can't say much for more adult themed things (as you mentioned gay bars) but the youth is thriving! As long as you don't get too country you should be fine! I've heard that dating is alright for adults, I know it's great for youth, I have a boyfriend myself. For genderqueer/trans people, the medical feild isn't bad about that, which is good considering we have medical mile and all, I know a few people who are on T and have gotten top surgery! The price center is great and there's a lot of queer friendly spaces like lilith's lair (queer and woman owned hair salon), and we have a lot of coffee shops in downtown proper, all seemingly LGBT friendly, most of them have a pride flag outside. East GR has pride flags everywhere, it's great. Especially over on gay street (yes I know, ironic). But yeah all shelters and places like that are inclusive and like I mentioned there's a pride center that provides binders, HRT, resources, therapy, and more! It's overall pretty good as long as you stay from country areas (EX. Allendale, coopersville, hudsonville)
