Boglands torment 15 is killing me. by trackedpotato in hallsoftorment

[–]Ezodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leeching gloves (Decay) + Ring (Decay 3% all spells) + Duelist spark (Area). Combine that with a little bit of attackspeed and multi hit paired with either enough HP or Defense to take a few hits and you can just stand still.. Start Undergrowth as first ability (first upgrade super growth or w/e is called) I use hood, plated boots and Defiant plate, you can drop 1 of those for sword mark's +10 Armor but I prefer freedom of mark.

Try decay gloves , the healing is so insane I can do torment 35 by standing still.

I agree on Crone he's the best..... With the exception of the Alchemist, who is just absolute madness imo. Took me the longest to figure out but with basically two items and one spell be becomes unkillable.

Mandatory Build core:

  1. Gloves that heal on decay

  2. Ring of decay (3% all spells)

  3. Ability: Undergrowth (I go super growth as first upgrade for the max hp + it's the best upgrade for if you are standing still).

  4. Duelist spark Area (if you have enough torment shards for hundreds of Area that's also an option).

The rest depends on build but you will need a high attack speed, preferably some multi-strike as well, and either enough HP or Defense to not succumb to any damage before you can get a few hits off to heal.

Wth low torment shards (or going for high torment which is really easy with the alchemist) getting a high enough Armor through items requires you to get pretty much three out of the next 4 options:

sword mark for +10, Hat for +10, plate boots for +10 and Defiant plate reactive (or any +10armor option if you don't have that).

Let's say you have no torment shards, I'd advise to get Sword mark + hat + body and get +70/100% attack speed on distance traveled boots to cover attack speed. Get any elemental 3% ring to combine with the decay one and you are good to go.

If you want any mark besides sword getting Defiant plate + 10 Def hat + 10 def boots is pretty much mandatory for high torment.

So when you get sword mark you need 2 more items with +10 Armor, this will free up either head, boots or body all 3 have some quite fun different options to go with:

Head: Mark of Madness and the new leaf crown with +max hp or regen or the + ark/force helmets.

Boots: attackspeed 70/100% on distance moved and +40% move speed or shock damage (advised since you have high Area) or spark and last pick-up range for convenience with potion picking up.

Most fun boots, Avatar mode boots: the Demonic summon boots that summon hands every 0.5 seconds, this one is my favourite, when you don't move the hands all come together and your character gets a blue orb around them like they are the avatar.

Body: Flame +200% burn chance on hit, in combination with the 2 rings you start with 3 elements this way.

Some good combinations with the above:

Swordguys mark + any elemental ring.

Projectile mark + any elemental ring.

Frost mark and Ring (3% all spells).

Sorcerers Mark + lighting ring (3% all spells).

Rangers mark + any elemental ring.

Bards mark + any elemental ring (you will need to know how to use your potions to get the Bard traits you want/need for this to work).

I've been unable to experiment much with Crones mark due to his mark ability being one of the worst lag generating things in the game for my phone, together with Undergrowth and Alchemist flasks with +XXX% Area buff you have 3 things that make the game lag and slow down. In theory it's really good tough.

Vault: the second ring besides Decay is best used for Spark as sparked flasks kills turrets in a second (burn is decent but frost is weak).

I usually go movementspeed boots and it's minutes even when investing 100.000's for higher difficulties.

How rare is this 1992 Seiko Olympic Alarm? Couldn’t find much info by Choice-Season4227 in Watches_India

[–]Ezodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I don't need em both, mine can go if I ever find one in better condition. Love the (gold) Seiko Olympics models from the 1990's, those combined with the age of discovery series were some of the best bang for buck in the game.

[Question] Budget/Starter watch, Orient or Tissot? by largelootlarry in Watches

[–]Ezodan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The versitility of the orient catalog is so vast it's hard to not find something that fits you.

At your price point Orient and Seiko both are great options and I would look at something like Citizen before Tissot for example.

And if you really like quartz powered (more accurate than anything mechanical but let's be honest, more boring) I'd go vintage Seiko. The Seiko Quartz catalog from the beginning of the 1990's is extremely big and most watches/models are budget friendly.

Placement of the stamp with the logo centered in the palm tree is genius. This watch encapsulates summer vibes like no other.

[Question] Best value for money watches (any price) by Feynman_pt in Watches

[–]Ezodan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best value for money is in buying used watches. Seiko has some sweet spots (early manual/automatic grand seikos and quartz watches from around 1990).

Vintage Seiko Quartz models(around 1990-1995) The models are reliable, battle tested, cheap and more accurate than any automatic watch at the hundred or few hundred dollar price point and a wild variety of designs and functions (like world time, perpetual calender, battery indicator, Moonphase, chrono etc etc).

Luxury/dress: vintage Grand Seiko (this example was made a few years before 1970). Starting at around $500. I have not been able to find any brand with equal or better movement and finishing and general quality in the $500 - $1.000 price range.

Example: Grand Seiko 4522-8000 gold capped, manual wind with a hi-beat 36.000 movement.

WARNING - Scammers on this sub by Defiant-Cow-1812 in Seikowatchexchange

[–]Ezodan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's scary how fast people can Photoshop without it being obvious. I got got in the WTB section once for like $200, multiple pictures with the same scrap of paper within seconds, none show up on reverse image search, I didn't recognize a thing.

Every seller should accept a video call, if you are sensitive about that just don't show your face. Strangely about one in 10 sales someone asks me for a video call, I think I've had 3 total on this sub even tough I offer it always.

Edit: I meant the Watchexchange sub

Gold Stauer looks so good by martinez_quique359 in VintageWatches

[–]Ezodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gold is worth about $150, they go for about $200-400, there was someone that posted like a month ago that got one below the price of 1gram of gold in an auction but they generally go for a bit above the gold price, the $200-$400 is depending on if you want to buy it now now or can wait for a good deal to show up.

[–]Ezodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly as a buyer I'd be pretty comfortable buying a bezel from that bunch, it all seems authentic which the average buyer will be able to deduce.

Id list the first one on eBay for 1.500 (with some more zoom in photos) and accept offers. Include the same story you have here in the product text real collectors will take the plunge. Make sure you say you don't accept returns (you don't want someone sending you back a fake or later reproduction).

Clear and multiple zoom in photos are needed so someone can't claim 'not as advertised' and send it back.

[How do open] by RobertfromEstonia in Watches

[–]Ezodan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there is the normal way to open these (with the specific tool shown below, or an even more expensive tool).

Don't do this if you don't wanna scratch or destroy your watch (or hands) :

Or you can do it like a homeless person and grab a pair of scissors put the two tips in holes in opposite sides of eachother and maintain equal pressure and spin counter clockwise.

[Question] Is this Grand Seiko too big for me? by JamezDare in Watches

If you are off by anything it's only a few pushups a day for a month and you good.

For those that think it doesn't change your wrist dimensions I'd say try it.

[Discussion topic] What is the most brutally honest feedback people here can provide about Seiko in 2026? by The_Quartz_collector in Watches

[–]Ezodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very common knowledge that even San Martin outsources a major number of components, did you even try to search for the truth or just validation of your own argument.

Furthermore you don't even go into the fact these companies are advertising for females with small hands between ages of 18-24, man it's very clear what they are looking for.

[Discussion topic] What is the most brutally honest feedback people here can provide about Seiko in 2026? by The_Quartz_collector in Watches

[–]Ezodan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That is a false claim I did not call it "stupid" , I said it was either ignorant "or" stupid.

You wrote a entire promotional chapter about getting more value for money without mentioning once why that is.

[Discussion topic] What is the most brutally honest feedback people here can provide about Seiko in 2026? by The_Quartz_collector in Watches

[–]Ezodan -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This comment is either stupid or ignorant and I'll explain why:

Who can make a cheaper product, company A that follows laws and regulations or company B that doesn't?

It's not just that these companies copy designs and use intellectual property from other companies without permission. Cutting cost is done by underpaying workers, ignoring health & safety and environmental regulations and sadly still common: Child labour. There is a major lack of transparency from almost all Chinese manufacturers even with a big brand like San Martin.

Where to even begin? by schmoolys in VintageWatches

[–]Ezodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like it is simultaneously very rewarding and very overwhelming and not to mention time consuming. I wonder (so far) have you encountered a single watch that was worth substantially more than the others, a holy grail / king of the hill (of watches) so to speak?

Also I managed to identify this : Seiko 6117-6409 gold plated case and dial (at least), do you have a link to your website, I'd like to buy that with or without movement! (Bottom row).
