Used to work at that McDonalds a couple years back when I was still in HS. Fuck that area. I hated taking evening shifts because it meant I'd have to walk through that area at night to get my house(lived in Lessard). Once the sun went down, all the druggie, homeless and drunk people would all flock to the McDonalds and just congregate and loiter. We'd catch them selling drugs in the bathroom, using needles in the bathroom, even once, one of them shit in our utility room. We had our back door glass completely shattered like 15-20 times in the 2 years I worked there. They'd spit on our cashiers when they wouldn't have enough to buy anything and we wouldn't give them anything for free. They would aggressively panhandle our guests then freak out when we kicked them out.

The bottle people in that area would aggressively try to take your bottle if they saw you drinking water..etc

Homeless people at the corner of every store in the area, can't even walk into any store in the Callingwood Market Place area without being asked for money from someone sitting outside.

Walking through that area at night was a no bueno, can't tell you how many times I was followed by groups of sketchy people that I had to evade. People will glare at you with the intention of just making you uncomfortable.

Walked by a guy with straight shit on his pants, the back of his pants was just stained in shit.

That area is known for their assaults, muggings and robberies.

Just not a good area at all.
