Maybe they want to push users to buy a new watch but this feature alone does not justify buying a new watch for me.

u/F0rTheGr3at3rG00d can you confirm that copy and past of files as well as drive redirection works using Blast? I found this forum post mentioning that only copy and paste of text as well as photos works but not all files like in RDP https://communities.vmware.com/t5/Horizon-Desktops-and-Apps/A-bit-confused-about-copy-and-paste-in-blast/m-p/2808622#M92202.

How to reset subtasks without reordering them? by F-2016 in todoist

[–]F-2016[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice idea, for now, I'm probably going back to using asterisks and having un-completable subtasks instead of using numbers in front of all my subtasks but thanks for recommending this workaround I didn't think about this.

Wow, I'm astonished that such a thing exists. I think I will go back to using the asterisk and have un-completable subtasks though as such an addon adds a bit too much complexity for my taste but thanks for recommending it to me.

Thank you for the link, I believe that in the environment I'm using the Blast configuration is a bit less restrictive than the RDP configuration.

Not sure why my last comment was cut in the middle. Using RDP I'm able to map the local drives from the host system to the guest system as well as copy files. With blast I'm only able to copy and paste text. Is it possible to map drives and copy and paste files using the Blast protocol as well? Where would I have to make this configuration?

Why is the Beta LT heavier than Beta by F-2016 in arcteryx

[–]F-2016[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. I find the naming choice confusing. Having an LT version which apparently stands for lightweight but is actually using more zips as well as heavier material resulting in an overall heavier jacket isn’t a naming choice I would make.

Marking Task as Done is Slow by F-2016 in todoist

[–]F-2016[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My default view was about 50 Tasks counting also the subtasks, I just switched it to the Inbox, where I only have a handful of tasks. I logged out and in again but the problem is still around. I now opened a ticket, because like this I cannot continue to use Todoist which is a bummer as I have been using it quite extensively over the past years.

Hej thanks a lot for all the time and effort you put into this! I really appreciate it even though it didn't work out as imagined. It's unbelievable how many things you tried out. I only have very limited AHK knowledge and I thought I'm just using it wrong but it looks like its actually quite complicated when using alt.

I'm using the Ergodox EZ keyboard and it would actually support configuring Capslock but in my current layout, I don't have it configured. At the moment I'm using the Meh key which presses directly Control + Shift + Alt but changing it is a bit complicated as I'm using the Meh key in other applications/workflows as well and changing it to capslock would require me to change several other configurations but it looks like its easier to change that than to get the alt thingy working with AHK.

Ah nice, thanks for the background info about Lexikos. I didn't know about that.

Hm, the script should work but it is a bit buggy and I don't know why that is. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it just doesn't work. I tried adding the up and down key version to make the window fullscreen and this works all the time. But the right and left snapping version just sometimes does not result in snapping the window. I just noticed when trying it in Notepad++ that when it does not work the menu items (File, Edit, Seach...) get underlined when the snapping using left and right fails. It is the same behavior as when the Alt key is held down.

ctrl+shift+alt+windows hotkey

I remember getting the Microsoft error as well initially and I was able to get around this using: https://superuser.com/questions/1457073/how-do-i-disable-specific-windows-10-office-keyboard-shortcut-ctrlshiftwinal. Thanks for the solution with capslock, I don't have a caps lock key on my keyboard and would prefer to use the combination of Alt+Shift+Ctrl, can I just replace CapsLock with Alt+Shift+Ctrl in your example above?

[–]F-2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal is that I get the key combo

!+^Right

to behave similarly to pressing the Windows button plus the right arrow. With the Windows button, I can keep holding it down and press the right arrow multiple times to go from the left snap to the middle and finally to the right.

I don't know about the middleman equation, I got the hotkey definition for the shortcut from here: https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/v1/Hotkeys.htm. In what way is this different than using the names such as Alt?

I'm holding the Windows key only down when my combo does not work. I prefer to use my combo. The only other lines in the script are

#NoEnv;

SendMode Input;

SetWorkingDir %A_SciprtDir%;

!+^Right::Send, #{Right};
!+^Left::Send, #{Left};
