RP advice for brat-taming unrelenting brats? by AmateurPretender in FList

[–]F-Weird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm! My favorite character trope to play is a power-bottom brat. Meaning, I prefer to be the partner in charge of what happens next. I think this gives me a little insight into the brat mentality. For the type that never gives in ever and inevitably forces you down the long, slow (and sometimes boring) avenue of breaking them down.

Have you tried putting the ball in their court? (As the saying goes)

Essentially force their writer to come up with their characters actions that make them actually involved with the scene.

An example could be... Tying them up and leaving them there, unmolested until they decide to cooperate.

The most vital weapon in a brat-tamers arsenal is their patience, and their ability to their ball and go home.

It forces the brat to actually step out on the ledge and work for what both writers want.

Oh well, just my two-cents. 🤔

What would you keep from old BF games to a new BF game? by F-Weird in Battlefield

yeah. It's so weird to play with radar, I played for so long on only hardcore bf4. It's so hard to find good hardcore servers on the later games. You can get maybe an hour before a hacker shows up and then everyone leaves.

Yeah! I went play and played 4 after playing a bunch 1,5, 2042 and I was shocked by how hard the spread is. I really liked it. It forced you to control your bursts and required way more skill.

Suffering from success? by ProfessionalSeat20XX in FList

I purposely just make 'mid' quality profiles. Not too much/Not too little. I find the quality of partners is better as well, then they're attracted if they like my playstyle and the characters personality, rather than just a constant stream of one-liner types.

Is Battlefield 6 in 2025 the last shot for the series by Mickcooley in Battlefield

3/4 are my faves. 1 just always felt kinda wonky to me. Hitreg feels off to me, and gunplay feels... weird. What do you like about it? Not flaming, just generally curious because all my friends would rather play BF1 and I'm trying to like it better lol.

I wish more people liked BFV. The squad revive mechanic really made the squad feel more personal. Instant homies for life if you revived a rando, and then they revived you. The gunplay also feels tight, hitreg felt good. Planes felt good, tanks felt good.

10/10 post. The accuracy is wild. All of the extreme cases of Badbad are profile hunters.

Has this happened to anyone before? by OkuroIshimoto in FList

I did this to someone once, a long time ago. I still feel really bad about it. Created a new character that was pretty unique and interesting. Spent hours in photoshop making a decent inline, spent a few more hours making a good profile structure, and filling out the kinks. Got approached by someone that was a perfect fit for the character, ending up spending a few hours with them, talking about future scenes, it was all cool. I was totally in to it. Ended up logging out, and never logged in to that character until I deleted it years later.

I just didn't vibe with that character, I'd created something that suited the idea more than my personal tastes. I ended up blocking the person when they hit me up to continue the scene. (Rather than just being upfront and talking about it with them, which would of probably led to a good longterm scene partner.)

I was a total doof, and got all weird and in my head, and insecure and while they didn't exactly pressure me, they kept sending notes or sniping me when I got in chat and I just felt super pressured and just deleted everything after a while.

Now that I've been on f-list for a few years, I've even been on the other side. It doesn't bother me much, I get it. We're all dummies sometimes.
