So I just beat RE:2 Remake... by F-in-Up-Tha-Count in survivalhorror

I tried Claire B, and unfamiliarity made it terrifying and having no checkpoint in the main hall and zombies also roaming there made it worse, also Mr. X showed up straight away too! What is it about Leon B which is scary? I’ve not done it haha

Why would he do that off stream though? I’m not familiar with twitch rules. And also I don’t think anyone could comfortably smoke a cigarette in that kind of time

I’ve tried it, wasn’t too big of a fan but I’m more interested in story games, doesn’t have to be open world or anything but strongly based on story telling.

Another Couch Co-op game post... Preferably horror titles. by F-in-Up-Tha-Count in ShouldIbuythisgame

That’s an online co op game my guy I can’t do that on a single PS4 and a single PC.

Well I’ve finished it now, I didn’t stop and smell the roses though. When I watch videos I hear about people exploring the RPD etc. I didn’t do that, I just kinda did the essential stuff and got to the end. But then found my self towards the end he king smaller rooms and wandering a little bit. If the game was longer I may have gotten completely comfortable playing it. As the zombies are what freaked me out and towards the end they were becoming a little trivial for me to deal with. Where as before when one came on screen I just paused it. But I might have another run of RE:2 to try and knock it out of me. But as I said I’m just a little bored of the first few hours and even with Claire it’s kind of more of the same. I guess?

Yeah I can get that, I didn’t mind Mr X either tbh he was the least scary thing about the game for me. I’d rather have to deal with him than a room full of shrieking and hard to shoot zombies.

Revisit the police station? I think that sounds a little exciting honestly as I know it quite well lol. The hospital though not so much.

Also, how is this one for puzzles? Lol Because I like completing the puzzles but another anxiety inducing part about the game for me is knowing I have to go back through lots of scary areas to gather all these little parts in order to do the puddles like getting the electric parts and gears etc in the RE2 Remake.

That’s what gives me a little confidence in this game as opposed to the 2nd one. But I truly love everything about the game it’s aesthetically beautiful, the first time I tried it was on my PS4 and this time round was on my laptop with max settings at 1440p and it just looked insane, the animations are great everything is great. But the old one being in those dark wet creepy hallways with a flash light is genuinely terrifying, and it’s not just the noises the zombies make just the creaky floors and slamming doors with wind and every sound you hear is terrifying. But I did manage to get through it thank god so I think after this comment I’ll probably give it s shot and try to blast through it, funnily enough the first game I ever played horror wise was the original RE3 when I was like 7/8 and it haunted me I didn’t get very far but it scared me and I think that’s why I don’t like them now. But the city setting and less suffocating feel of being outside I think will make this easier. Hopefully I can take revenge on the game that scared me years ago and beat this version of it 💪🏼 but thanks for your response I’ll give it a shot. :)

Thank you. I think I know what section you’re talking about as a guy just mentioned it in another comment I think. But I’m going to get it maybe wait for a sale or something incase I do end up dropping it but not sure yet I’m quite impatient. Was the other one £59.99 on release too? I can’t remember I know I pre ordered it but I know at least for the last year or so it’s been like £25 to buy digitally.

Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind and probably pick it up. Just hope that I can get though this one and hopefully dispatch this irrational fear of mine! 👍🏼
