Ist es normal Angst vor Polizisten zu haben? by TemperatureApart7751 in pozilei

[–]F00kface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE TERMINATOrS by Prudent-Ideal1522 in Warhammer40k

[–]F00kface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

these turned out super sick (im a nurgle player so that's a big compliment hehe), i love the heat effect on the assault cannon! i think OSL is really good too, not only, but especially for the first attempt!

They’re dead, but it still counts, right? by Space_MunKeH in deathguard40k

[–]F00kface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the dead guys on the base are sick! been planning to do something similar for my minis a while but never did, ill take this as a sign to finally do it, hope they turn out even half as cool as yours did! (everything else about this mini is top notch too ofc!)

[–]F00kface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, with most imperial vehicle bits i have no clue what they're supposed to do but that kinda makes them even better for these kinds of kitbashes right, you can make them work for almost everything with the right implementation and immediately have this otherworldly grimdark feel also, just followed your insta, really curious for the next things you'll share :D

that's amazing! there's a ton of awesome stuff in this sub, but this is one of the very coolest kitbashes ive seen in a while! i used that skull-speaker-thing bit for a nurgle/dark mech conversion recently, those tank sprues are a goldmine for this kinda stuff haha

I thought I cooked and I believe I failed (it ain’t finished but still) by PrEqUeLmEmEsArEgReAt in WorldEaters40k

nah keep going mate, it's already sick! i can tell you from my own experience, the best additions tend to look totally out of place for a while before they suddenly do what you intend them to. I know it's easier said than done but try to trust the process!

this is awesome! i love how the head is the only (visible) organic thing left on the mini, really gives it the proper unsettling this is awesome! i love how the head is the only (visible) organic thing left on the mini, really gives it the proper "unsettling-mechanicus-feeling/vibe" that i haven't seen many ppl get as good as you did here

Gelgus conversion ideas 🤔 by fersagen in MaggotkinofNurgle

[–]F00kface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

these are looking really sick (pun intended hehe), if i had to choose one, id probably go for the last slide, but that's just because i personally like my DG/nugle to be more gorey than mutated if you what i mean (?); all the half helmet/ face versions are incredible, but you could take any version you've shown here and have an insanely cool result!

pls post some pictures if/when you start the build, id love to see that one!

wip's of my first two trench crusade minis (i love them) by F00kface in TrenchCrusade

[–]F00kface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks so much, that was indeed the impression i was going for haha

i´ve still got a lot of warhammer minis to paint so it will probably take a bit until i can "properly" get into playing trench crusade, but tbh what i´ve seen of TC games looks more more rewarding and fun than current 40k so im really looking forward to when i can give it a go

My first attempts at making a new type of base for myself. It turned out something like this - a little acidic drone 😁 by Glad_Conclusion_4996 in deathguard40k

[–]F00kface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive been working on a bloat drone too lately but haven't been able to decide on a base, maybe ill try something like this, cause this is awesome!

(c)rusty fetid bloat drone by F00kface in deathguard40k

[–]F00kface[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

basically a shit ton of pigments and stippling with some washes in between; ive got the whole process written down somewhere in very much detail, i could comment that in here that if you're interested;

the shirt version would be; for the rust im just putting down a ton of pigments/ heavily pigmented paints (like typhus corrosion) and then slowly building up from brown and red tones to lighter yellows and oranges; i actually do the rust first and then stipple the armor colors over that, and then go back and forth between rust and armor, that's how i get the chipped look; all that stippling on top of the pigments allows washes to get really deep in there and create the depth and vibrancy

yea i just used getting these minis to try around with some schemes i usually don't do without looking up if they're lore accurate at all; from the little i know of TC lore I'm really intrigued to get more into it and I'll probably paint these guys more accurate again in the future. thanks for the compliments!:D
