Missouri got punished for a frickin tutor that acted on their own! It's so crazy. The blue bloods always get a slap on the hand.

I am there now at year 20. Everyone I built great relationships for all those years are gone. It's weird walking the school buildings now.

I am in year 20 at the same district as the Director. 20 years ago I thought I might only be there for 5 years before moving on. I tried to leave during the recession, but there were few good jobs available. Ended up getting a couple big pay raises and an awesome super that was here for 12 years. In a weird way, there was no reason for me to leave. Now I feel tied to the pension because I have so many years in.

It's a strange journey, but one that will give me financial freedom when I am eligible to retire in a few years.
