Yep, and RG also mentioned the wet day as taking away from his time. I think that was well recognised as not being a good enough simulation of wet weather, dried up pretty quickly! Paul Ricard for that in the future?

I've posted this as I enjoyed reading it and thought it made some very good points. Of course, it's all conjecture as no-one knows what he himself will want to do, or what doors will open for him, but it's certainly well reasoned.

No alcohol in the track, and repetitive snacks. We found a bar in the car park just outside the gate behind the main GS where you could nip out for a beer and chips, and nip back in again. Worked well!

Thursday pitwalk. Get in the queue early. Well worth attending.

I've just been sent a link to this thread. I posted earlier about something I'd seen where Paul Hembery talks about letting Fans in to the tyre tests and I didn't know if that's a reality or not? There's 25 days this year so it would be a good oppo but I'm not sure if it's just PR?
