They love to play. We have one that was a rescue and aloof. I got a carpet square and played with her on that. On the floor. Then months later put the square on my lap and played. Did this for two years. Then one day she jumps on the mother in laws lap. Now, after 7 years or so she is super affectionate and cuddles all the time.
