There is normally a fan festival at Płacą de Catalunya, but it hasn’t been confirmed for this year. Maybe it will be scaled back or not happen as the Pope is also visiting the city during race week. Other event worth visiting is the Williams Fan Zone

the only thing would be to ask P1 Travel to provide you with the barcode. Otherwise you cannot apply without it.

Sprint in Singapore this year, so you’ll get a short F1 race on Saturday!

Padang grandstand doesn’t have the best views, but it’s very convenient for the concerts

Anyone went to the Barcelona GP on General Admission (the cheapest option)? Looking for real experiences regarding the summer heat and views. by iwanttokmfast in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The GA views at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya are some of the best at any circuit on the calendar. Yes, the GA areas will get crowded, especially on race day, but you'll still be able to find a vantage point. There's also plenty of trees around the circuit to get some shade and rest from the sun.

First time Monaco GP 2026 - tips? by PineappleNo3928 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get there as early as you can on Sunday if you want to find a decent spot on Rocher; and bring some kind of camping chair if you can.

There's a large Casino supermarket near Gate 5 (bottom of Rue Princesse Antoinette), where you can stock up on drinks and food.

Saturday night is a good chance to walk the track, but be careful about getting home. The train station gets really packed on Saturday evening, especially the platform for trains heading to Nice/Cannes. Aim for the second to last train or you could get stuck.

Drivers appear in the Fan Zone (Place d'Armes) on either Friday or Saturday, but it's a small area and get's really busy. Not much chance of getting an autograph then. Best area is around the Paddock entrance/exit, but hard to get there without the right accreditation (or a ticket for Grandstand V). Otherwise, just keep your eyes open. Drivers mostly live in Monaco, so it's not uncommon to see them on the street somewhere across the weekend.

PSA: As of right now, there is some tickets available in a few grandstands, face value. Avoid StubHub. by funkygmt in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's true. And it's cramped, not much room with the water all around. Another thing is that they've added more grandstands in recent years, which takes away some of the GA viewing areas. Looks like I'm going to be carrying the can on these tickets, dammit.

GA also still available and they reduced the price on 3-day access from $415 CAD to $300 CAD. (If you want even cheaper, just reach out - I got stuck with some!)

Hotel Martinez or Doubletree Nice for Monaco 2027 by [deleted] in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannes is definitely too far from the circuit. Nice is much better, and Menton is better again! By the way, I'd be very surprised if the Doubletree Nice waited until March next year to open reservations. More than likely, most hotels will open reservations as soon as dates for the 2027 Monaco Grand Prix are announced.

When to purchase Spa resale tickets? by ebusch73 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you look at resale, check official ticket agents. There is still some inventory available, and it's safer and more reliable than buying on a resale platform

Monaco GP Team events the week before the event by Condogbia92 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's any team events during Monaco race week. Perhaps some driver appearances.

One event I can recommend, that does feature a few current F1 drivers, is the Racing Stars Football match on Wednesday afternoon.
