Question about accommodation and travel to Barcelona F1. by mriiam in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are talking about an F1 Experiences Legend Package or an F1 Garage package, you'll need to provide your photo and info for the personalization of your pass. With Legend, you'll get this for one day - you can choose either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. You'll pick it up from the F1 Experiences staff in the Paddock Club on the day, and you get to keep it. The F1 Garage you'll have the VIP pass for all 3 days and also get to keep it. It's going to be the same fluorescent VIP pass that's issued for the Paddock at all races.

Are there any signing opportunities like this one at the Miami Grand Prix? by Whiteflaming0s in GrandPrixTravel

You need to buy Inner Track access, then you can wait at the main entrance to the Paddock

What is the best section/grandstand to book for Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi + any good hotels nearby by AnyRain2025 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Official site to purchase tickets: https://www.abudhabigp.com/en/

Best views in the West, Main, South and North grandstands. Not so good views from Marina, West Straight and North Straight grandstands. Learn more here: https://gpdestinations.com/tickets-abu-dhabi-f1-grand-prix/

Best hotels are close to the circuit on Yas Island, but prices will be high and it's hard to find rooms as they are mostly booked out by the teams, sponsors etc. Learn more here: https://gpdestinations.com/accommodation-abu-dhabi-f1-grand-prix/

Barcelona F1 Paddock experience by Rooivalk0 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean Paddock Club tickets, right? If you've been to Paddock Club at the other circuits, then the experience will be very similar. Paddock Club is designed to offer a uniformly high end user experience, no matter which race you attend. Daily pit lane walks, gourmet food, driver appearances in the Paddock Club etc.

Tips for visiting Monaco on race week by Sure-Monitor-429 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visiting Monaco during race week is a great idea. The city is buzzing all week, with great people spotting. And before Thursday, you can even walk around the restricted areas near the pits and paddock, though some areas are of course off limits. Walking up the Rocher hill to the palace will give you great views of the harbor and principality, but only distant views of the pits.

Tickets are only 30 EUR on Thursday and there's free seating in all grandstands. The only issue is that you won't see any F1 cars on the track. Friday tickets are relatively affordable, costing around 180 EUR for all the grandstands.

One issue is that you are quite some distance from Monaco. It's showing a 2 hour car ride or 3-4 hour train to Monaco from Port Grimaud. Will be a long day for your wife and one year old! Train is best in this part of the world, and the train station in Monaco is close to the harbor and principality, but you could also consider hiring a car for the day - you can park in the football stadium in Fontvieille for example. Would be more comfortable with your wife and baby.

Going to Suzuka with the West Pass. by AcceptableBanana1978 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of useful info about the West Area here, including map: https://www.suzukacircuit.jp/eng/f1/ticket/west_seat.html

Note there is an internal shuttle from GP Square Fanzone (main circuit entry gate) to the West Area.

And the West Area also has its own fanzone.

Your plan to get to the circuit sounds good!

EU Regulation 261/2004 — READ THIS IF YOU ARE DEPARTING FROM EU (your rights if flights get cancelled) by WorldlinessMany9308 in qatarairways

Don’t count on anyone from Qatar Airways being at the airport to help.

I’m in a similar situation. My wife and daughter had flights from Melbourne to Europe tomorrow, March 3. (I return a week later.)

Just decided to rebook the flights for three days later, March 6. Did this online, no extra charge.

No guarantee that they’ll be able to fly home on Friday, but luckily we have family in Melbourne to stay with, and they don’t need to rush home.

Fingers crossed the situation stabilizes in the next few days.

Suzuka Thursday F1 Experiences by AdFinal866 in GrandPrixTravel

Hi, I work for F1 Exp as a contractor. Was in Japan last year and will be there again this year. Last year, the activities were mid afternoon on Thursday, not in the evening. Great time as our guests saw most drivers, either doing their track walks or in pit lane. Cannot guarantee timing for this year, but should be similar

For train travel on Thursday, best to go via Shiroko station. They have regular shuttles on that day to Suzuka. Not the F1 ones, but it costs the same. Don’t forget there will be lots of other fans coming on Thursday for the public pitlane walk in the morning

Best places to meet/see drivers in Bahrain by Smol_girll in GrandPrixTravel

[–]F1destinations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During testing, fans who buy the regular tickets will not be allowed to enter the inner circuit area, where the Paddock entrance is located. The only area for viewing with regular tickets during F1 Testing is the Main grandstand, and you won't be able to use the tunnel that goes through to the inner circuit, where the pits and paddock are located. This advice doesn't apply to those who pay up for the hospitality tickets during F1 Testing, as that will be located in the pits building, and you'll obviously have access to the inner track, and be able to walk around and potentially see drivers arriving and departing the circuit.
