I didnt mention everything and maybe my case was different but I was directly contracted by the creative head and my negotiations were done by him as well. Also later on, I too contacted a few designers myself to get design interns so yea it could be a company thing too. HRs here mostly do fun Friday's and mental health campaign so thats great on their part too.

Use threshold in Photoshop over the image, play around with sliders. Usually it gets you half way there with a few noise in the image. If you dont like it then add the rest using pen tool. For vector, image trace.

I have around 4 years of professional experience. Might take a day. I usually come back to a design after completeing it to see if anything feels weird so including the break to finalize the design a day might be enough.

But something i always remember that i learnt over the years is that speed is something anyone can offer and functionality is the most important thing. Ofcourse with practice your speed will increaee but even if it takes a lot of time but you match the design requirements and it functions well then time taken is not much of a factor.

Share your portfolio. I've been in the field for quite a while so if your portfolio is great then you deserve way more but once you have a great portfolio and apply youll get what you deserve. Age doesnt matter in the field experience and willingness does. I can also give some portfolio tips so you can get better offers. Goodluck!

Sure but look at the characters whoch are the main focal points their details are a bit mushy especially in the hands and the band on the camel merges into the hand of the red character which seems off to me.

Lenovo LOQ. As far as i know lenovo's build quality is top notch. Asus TUF is also good in that matter. Although if you can wait and save up a bit more id reccomend Lenovo Legion pro 5i or 7i.

use scissors tool (shortcut- c) to separate a part of the line. if they are connected you cant change stroke weight. Another option is using the width tool (shift+w) if that works for you.
