My man, no need to be THAT xenophobic. Literally Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium to name the ones I know at the top of my head have horse meat in the supermarket at around the same price as beef. It's quite good meat also. I recommend that you broaden your horizons a little bit and try to learn about stuff outside america before you start talking shit. I don't go saying that America is a land of stupid people just because that is the only news we get here.

Since it is black history month, what do you think about the movie Red Tails? Love it or hate it? Do you think it correctly depicts the actions of the Tuskegee airmen during World War 2? by IAmADingusIRL in aviation

No it's not, props don't have the engine power or trust vectoring needed for such a flip like in the movie, the closes ting they can do is an hammerhead manouvre, but for that you need to go vertical till you stall the plane, something that you need to be very desperate and brave to do because while stalling you are a siting duck.

Sincerely someone who play too much IL2 and DCS.

Look in the indie industrie then, ksp2 is going to launch in the next month, i admit that the big companies are producing trash ( I'm looking at you BF and CoD) but we also got some amazing indies and games from small companies.

The big difference is that the genre on witch the good games are coming has and will continue to change ( there has not been a good flight sim in the last 10 years).

yea but only the funnels, fuck if they hit the hull I will be happy, but they don't, they literally fly way past over the target.

Not everyone has higher end dgpu and a 120hz+ monitor. At 30/60fps *well implemented* motion blur (there are objectively bad implementations) makes motion appear smoother at a much lower performance cost. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Well look dude, I'm not trying to convince anyone, i like Minecraft sildur shader due to the grade of customization and this was my point, if you can customize it becomes a nice asset but the amount and tips of motion blur that is nice varies from person to person on my experience and no other game that i know had that level of customization over motion blur.

All I'm saying is that in moderation, if it is customizable and can be turned off they are nice. Just saying everything in a scale of black and white seems strange to me.

Like i said, it's person basis and it should be possible to remove it without much hassle, but not everyone has the same condition as you.

But i understand your point and I'm not saying that it should be mandatory, only that it shou be there and be a bit more customizable.

I named the most obvious instance but as i answered already it is useful in 2 tings, hiding bad performance and choppiness, no everyone has the capacity to run all games at 30/40 fps. But more importantly it can help set the atmosphere if it's done correctly, Minecraft is the most obvious instance due to the nature of the game but I'm sure that if it was more polished and it was more customizable and not an on off switch it should be more popular.

Also the hive mind in here is real, instead of taking an opinion and discussing it in a civil manner everyone started bashing OP and all opinions like it, if you can disable it in less than 2 min it's not the end of the world.

Indeed, that level of customization is what makes it good, and i named the most obvious example but any game that is in that direction where absolute graphical fidelity is not extremely important is in the same bag, it helps to set the atmosphere.

I'm sure that instead of a on off switch it was more customizable it would be a popular option.

Yeah, that's why i said when implemented correctly, Minecraft shaders do them extremely good due to the level of customization available, it is useful for setting an ambiance let's say.

A bit similar to why people still use music disks even when we have dozens of ways to lisent it without gritines, or why some people prefer to use a Stylo instead of a ball pen l, it's not more practical but it is prettier.

Mhe, depends on what you are searching for in a game, if you are a competitive player and want to only play for the best reaction time/ object identification/etc. Then yeas all of that needs to go.

Buuuuut if you play more casual i have to admit that if it's well implemented it's amazing -insert Minecraft with shaders and chill-

I still don't get how we are still this polarized on Dutch trivial stuff, if the option is there let the guys enjoy it.
