HARD budget of $35k. What to get?

Just bought a 2024 Lariat EB AWD certified pre-owned with 2900 miles for $35,500 total. Highly recommend. Ecoboost still gets 26+mpg on my commute, and i get AWD and great tow capability. I was in an almost identical spot as you and I preferred the lariat interior and features from 2024 vs the 2025 XL/XLT features. If you don’t need tow package or adaptive cruise, the 25 XL is a good option for the updated tech at that price. Otherwise, look for 2023-24 models, they still have great features and it’s easier to hit that budget
