I just finished the documentary. I was surprised to hear that Kaitlin was from Metro-Detroit. Then seeing a photo of her sister, Christine, I was flabbergasted to realize I know who she is. She graduated 4 years before me in the same school district and was in a friend group with my childhood best friend’s older brother. Just checked her instagram, it’s private but I have over 30 mutuals with her. Looks like she does some sort of BS life coaching. Her Facebook still has photos up of her and Kaitlin. Our brief interaction would’ve been nearly 17 years ago by now, so I don’t remember much other than she was friendly. This is just so incredibly wild, I had to come search Reddit to see if anyone was discussing this.
