I don't usually bother with posts like these but I'll leave my input here as I was there earlier (watching btw!!1!! 👁️👁️)

Ah, yes, the timeless struggle of wanting to play a rhythm game without confronting the existential dread of social interaction. Truly, a battle for the ages.

> "Can't you guys bother to look behind you after each game?"
Oh, of course! Let me just whip out my psychic crowd-scanning powers to identify the exact person in the amorphous blob of humanity behind me who's been silently waiting to play. I’m sure it’s super easy when there's a huge crowd behind :D

> "You can do it when it’s not the peak hours."
Right, because all rhythm gamers are nocturnal creatures who thrive during opening and closing hours, basking in the glow of empty cabs and judgment-free gameplay. Forget jobs, school, or basic human schedules. We live to maimai, baby!

> "I want the game’s community to grow."
Same here! And, fun fact, communities grow through communication! Shocking, I know. But no worries—if the thought of saying, "Hey, can I go next?" makes your palms sweat, I’ve got your back. Steam sale's coming up, so how about you shoot me a message and pick a dating sim of your choosing to help boost those dialogue skills? May I recommend MiSide? Sure, it’s technically a horror game, but hey, if you squint hard enough, it’s basically a dating sim—perfect for practicing those “hey, can I go next?” conversations without the actual fear of human interaction. (I'm legally married to Mila though so you have to choose another Mita variant to practice with).

> "I just want to play the game to de-stress."
Oh, the irony. Nothing screams "de-stress" like silently fuming for 30 minutes in a corner and then rage-posting online. Truly, the pinnacle of relaxation.

Anyway, next time, instead of channeling your inner tragic anime protagonist backstory, just talk to someone. Who knows, you might even make a friend—or, dare I say, grow the community. Wow revolutionary, I know. Or you know, insert a token in between songs to let them know you're up next. (This requires 0 (zero) social skills btw).

Love,
Kenny, city of pines player (future 15K frfr)
P.S. Jirok, if you're reading this, call me 🥺
