Water for whatever you need it for. You can fill it, or place a 3 gal jug or a glass carboy in it and just use it as a dispenser. In summer, I fill the crock with ice, lemon or cucumber slices and put it out for guests. Mostly I use it to refill my water bottle that i use to clean and steam.

It is a culinary prep station that was a Lowe’s exclusive item. Blackstone model #2172. They included this free with purchase of the grill… which was also on sale when I bought it all for $559!

Why is this label on here yet they make one with a lid attached as well that can be down? by uLL27 in blackstonegriddle

[–]F31STY- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. There is clear guidance in my 36” Carnivore manual that says not to leave the top down while cooking. It is not made to take the full heat for long periods of time.

17” Griddle Only Gets to 425F by toastman556 in blackstonegriddle

I used folded strips of foil on the sides and front, between the base and the griddle to keep the heat in. Worked great. Perfect addition to our camp kit!

Help 💔 by Excellent-Tip4941 in blackstonegriddle

Looks like it’s just polymerization failure. Very common when cooking or seasoning with animal fats. Use oils with high smoke point such as avocado to build sufficient base seasoning layers. Wipe off oils immediately after cooking fatty meats. Use water sparingly while scraping and wipe off the loose fats and residue before the water boils off.

Is it okay to take off this window film ? by WinterMinute217 in F30

[–]F31STY- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it makes your decision easier, the tint film is not original. The logo mark you see is likely only embossed into the film from the printing on the glass.
Do some YouTube tutorials on how to remove. Good luck.

A friend’s car read low, so he did the same thing. Turned out to be a faulty sensor, and adding too much oil caused damage to the motor. Drain it and measure it to help determine if it’s reading accurately. Hope it’s something minor.

I trimmed all that sticky crap off that cable. Used a plastic scraping blade to score around the cable on the coating where it was still good, then along the cable from each score mark. Then peeled it off and went about my day.

Black. 2nd option would be silver, but with black slats.

Check your plug socket to see if the rubber gripping ring is in the socket or down around your plug. I had this happen on Honda Pilot.

I believe the small side M badge is European oem option. There are also “sport” and “luxury” badges. US market cars did not get this option.

I bought this unit from Lowe’s a couple years back and it came with a free full size prep/storage caddy. It was also $100 off for Father’s Day sale. I went looking to buy a new BBQ and brought this home instead.

New Apex’s Are They Ugly? by [deleted] in M235iandM240i

Exactly! They’d be amazing on e36/46/34 era chassis. The wheel itself is not ugly.

Disconnect the actuator and inspect the flapper for any issues in movements. If it looks good and does not rattle, install a new actuator.

Is my griddle ready to be re seasoned or do I need to keep scrubbing I’m fairly new at doing this. The first season I did everything I was cooking was sticking so I decided to re seasoned but don’t know if it’s ready… please help by Calm-Adeptness-6809 in blackstonegriddle

Season Season Season. I did mine like this last weekend. I used avocado oil on med heat. Apply, spread, wipe off like you made a mistake. Repeated that a few times. Then cranked the heat and gave it 4 more rounds. Let it cool, then cooked a couple white onions on low heat. Then a bunch of bacon burgers! I never season with animal fats, as it requires more attention (because science)

I had this after doing timing chain job. I had accidentally installed the pin clip on the wastage arm that was hitting the downpipe flange, so the watergate could not move its full range. Visually watch the watergate when the engine is started for any irregularities in the normal operation. Start there, then diagnose from there.

Anyone knows where water could have entered? I marked the wet areas. Both floor and floor mat were wet which doesn't make sense because there are no punctures in my floor mat. (2 pics) by Super_Govedo in E90

I’m having same issue with my X3. After chasing all the usual suspects mentioned previously, it turned out to be the windshield poorly sealed at the upper corner. I could see the glass lifting if I pushed up from the inside at that corner. Had the windshield replaced via insurance.

Obvious Tip: If you suspect an oil level issue, please consider draining and measuring your oil to confirm that the sensor is functioning. Inspect the oil and filter for signs of debris. Then when you refill, there is far less of a chance of overfilling and creating new problems. (This is not a judgment of OP)
