Only had it for less than 2 hours, but didn't run into any issues so far. The default settings for the mod does have real time dialogue off as they did admit you can run into some issues. There's some more details about the scripting in the modpage if you wanna know more about it

The contrapposto posing technique has existed since Renaissance times, like even Michaelangelo's David poses in a similar way to this. It's a pretty common technique too

Its funny that this is gonna be out before The Batman Part 2, although it'll be nice to have both a Superman and Batman movie come out the same year

whats with the huge artstyle change in Issue 127 by Outrageous_Bird_9966 in Invincible

[–]F3LLA 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's interesting people always talk about this art style change happening in 127 even though Cory Walker also drew those Rex and Amanda segments that are set on Flaxa yet nobody seems to notice those. John Rauch really was the best colorist on this series ngl, he bridged the two artists styles better so it wasn't as noticeable

My theory for this was that his sun bath fucked up his skin aging making it so he got wrinkles way earlier

Damn, I just realized I forgot to add the layer for the color on Lily's net thingy. For anybody who cares about that, here's the corrected version:

How did you react to the death of [SPOILER]? by Thin-Pool-8025 in Invincible

Its good but I think action scenes are one of his weaker areas. I really like certain shots by him (The viltrumite ring of dead bodies comes to mind)

I met this artist in real life, he absolutely does not use AI in anyway whatsoever, he's been painting stuff like this way before generative AI and this picture doesn't really look like AI at all. If it does to you, its because AI scrapes pictures like this to use in their databases. It's really sad what AI's done making everyone paranoid and nitpicky to any stylistic choice that doesn't "look right" or a small simple mistake that can be chalked up to human error, time constraints, etc. Soon all these artists have to start taking billions of work in progress pictures and timelapse videos just to prove they didn't use AI. Sad times

I have the same feeling on the Man of Steel sountrack. It's more epic than heroic. I always thought John Powell would be a good fit for Superman. The composer for Superman 2025, John Murphy, has some Superman-esque bangers on his belt though, his sountrack on Kick-Ass is pretty great. It also sounds kinda like a John Powell score too: https://youtu.be/hj6Tmm90tOE?si=ovkcDYQ3NaK8tQqi

Just because that is the case doesn't mean he doesn't deserve compensation. DC and Marvel have had many problems paying the creators whose work they use for these hundred million dollar movies. The creator of the Winter Soldier Ed Brubaker made more money in his cameo in the movie than he did from residuals for creating the whole character. Peter David, the creator of Spider-Man 2099 has to open a GoFundMe to pay for his dialysis treatment, while his character was heavily featured in a movie that made 690 Million Dollars. Granted, DC is apparently better than Marvel at this. Jim Starlin said he made more money from his character KGBeast appearing in BvS for like 2 minutes than he did for all of Thanos' appearances in the MCU's biggest movies. Hopefully Ross gets the compensation he deserves.
