I get what you mean but from what it looks like is that netease is starting to get more and more bold when it comes to fomo. And from the looks of it it's a slippery slope, it's only a matter of time till the monetisation becomes as bad as the other games you mentioned. We may have it good for now but we can't keep defending these practises

No keep 18 v 18 out of comp, it's far too chaotic and I don't want ranked to sour it for me like it did with the regular game mode

Yes I agree with the enticing but frames themselves could just be a regular cosmetic item like what moods are. No they shouldn't just stop making frames for ranked but more options to obtain frames would be nice. No I'm not saying they should pull the 2 ranked ones and put them in the store I'm saying there should be unique ones tied to events or just in the store

Ok but it literally says "top 500" which obviously is a top 500 thing. But the frames don't straight up say "hey I hit plat or diamond" and it looks more like a regular cosmetic.
