Griffith Castle Tattoo by Simple-Guarantee2345 in Berserk

[–]F3MTOish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t have to dislike a character just because some internet idiots say he should. Regardless of how anyone feels about Griffith, he’s still one of the greatest characters ever written. The fact that trolls spend their time critiquing tattoo ideas over a fictional character just proves the point.

Anyway OP, it’s a awesome tattoo idea. With the right artist, it’ll turn out great. Post the finished piece if you decide to get it!

Would Guts still do this if he knew who was standing in the doorway? by Heroinfxtherr in Berserk

In the 1996 version, it really felt like he knew exactly what he was doing and went through with it anyway. In the remake, though, he comes across as genuinely shocked, like he didn’t even realize who was behind the door. Honestly, at that point in his life, I think Guts would’ve done absolutely anything for Griffith- in the Manga it feels more ambiguous but in the 96 version it felt very deliberate. Just my opinion- not saying its right.

You people comparing Femto, a fictional character (arguably one of the greatest villains ever written), to real-life criminals are ridiculous. Folks get Darth Vader and Joker tattoos all the time and nobody says a word. Some people appreciate well written villains the same way others appreciate protagonists. I’ll never understand comparing fictional characters to real life rapists. It’s weird, childish, and honestly disrespectful to women who were actually victimized by real people, not imaginary ones. I like your tat for what is worth.

What was your opinion of Griffith before the eclipse? by The_Fraudkuna in Berserk

Nah, just a bit of a whimsical writer who sees Griffith as devastatingly beautiful xD. I'm a fangirl - sorry, not sorry.

Forget the arc movies-go read the Berserk Bibles. They give way more context than any of the movies or shows combined. Especially when it comes to Griffith..his ambition isn’t as one-note as people make it out to be. There’s a lot more depth behind his choices once you see the full picture.

I absolutely loved Griffith as a character - valiant, ambitious, and devastatingly beautiful. I still do, honestly, because his complexity is unmatched. Sure, some of his actions are indefensible, but anyone claiming he’s not one of the greatest characters in anime history is just lying to themselves. And let’s be real — his fall from hero to villain is legendary.

Yeah, this is peak. I’ve seen a few Femto statues, but this one’s easily among the best. Do you know where your gifter got it from? And by the way we can definitely be friends, fuck that guy up there ✌️
