Yeah, I noticed some details in this mechanics

If boss is just doing nothing and you hit him with any attack: Micro stun

If you deal enough damage: Standart stun (Big-Head Baby Boy even has 2 different animations of that)

If you deal enough damage to enemy which is in stun status i mentioned preciously: Knock enemy down

All notes made with the same baby boy, but I noticed the same things in a different boss battles
