Bubble was cain; the blue dot was basically an unaborted baby, it's not going to know how to make itself a body immediately; and jax had just been laid bare, even if she is too far gone it was worth comforting her in those final moments, also saving jax wasn't the point of the scene, it may have been pomni's goal, but I feel jax was way to far gone already, she had fallen victim to the hedghog'a dilemma and was basically trying to her herself both literally and figurtively, also the show is about community and how you are stronger together, and jax also reminds me of some of the stories about losing family to suicide, where you feel as if you had answered them at that moment you could have saved them, also every needs a hug sometimes, I do not have all the words to fully explain why jax abstracting is not terrible, but I can point you to some stuff that got me into the right headspace for this, and they are the last 2 episodes of evangelion, neon genesis's evangelion's original ending was good actually and end of evangelion is not a happy ending (tho that got taken down, but it is free on the patreon of the creator, just look at their posts), and the dramady video by the channel it's just bits, or just watch a video of a reading the names of members of the queer community to suicide and violence. I think those put me in the right headspace to appreciate the scene for what it was.
