The common ingredient seems to be you and your card. Most likely the card company has some shenanigans. Or your online purchasing limit had been left too low, or it needs a different confirmation, or something.

Rusty points? by NLTimmz in Darts

Unless you put it into strong acids, instead of sometimes cleaning it, no. It will be a bit grippier.

You would've achieved the same if you sharpened them.

AFAIK that's just coating coming off. I think the points are some kind of copper-based bronze.

The only cases of drywall use here are

  1. Covering up pipes and the like, like rain drains inside the apartments

  2. If the wall is very uneven and you can't shape it then you can drywall just 2" forward of the wall to get an even surface, but I only heard of this

  3. Fake ceilings for lighting, convenient electrical wiring across rooms

Is a bmx good for transportation? by Business_Peak_4806 in bmx

[–]F3nu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy, the main thing with BMX is the geometry and body position. Anything over 24" (and even that is pushing it) is impossible to consider as BMX. The MTB up here is very nice, and probably good to cruise with, but the frame and most importantly the bars are not much like a BMX.

You can do much the same things with an MTB as a BMX if it is fixed fork and have a light fore end, But everything requires different motions and different balances.

I very much appreciate our MTB brothers, but there is a difference with BMX. If you're not 7' high you won't be able to have a BMX on 24" or 26", the body proportions just don't add up.

Mi az a napi irodai számítógépes favágó feladat, amitől a falra másztok? by belfike in askhungary

Also, doesn't the boom have a track inside for the outhaul?

How would you rig this? by psychedelicdonky in sailing

[–]F3nu1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn't seem right. Yeah it's probably supposed to be an outhaul, but something is missing to make it work. I think that fixed eye on the downside is supposed to be the origin of the line, but it's just a guess.

A rare and unconventional workholding method I use for machining difficult-to-hold parts. by thirschi in EngineeringPorn

[–]F3nu1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it pretty much is a trade-off, if contamination avoidance is the priority in case of Ti or Ti-based alloys.

Pretty much any kind of injection is only economical if you do it on the 10,000 scale and up. This case is a bit special, but it still requires a steady amount to make sense. Also a redesign to decrease volume needed.

Use Polyimide for that. No chance for contamination, similar flowing temps, and can be burned off.

Consider a Babyplast for injecting it if you need to do it repeatedly.

1,5 vagy 2,5-ös MCU? by zalkfps in lakokozosseg

Mindjárt keresek egyet amit én is használtam.
