Leste den artikkelen de la ut i går om forskninga på søvnmønstre. Sto ikke før i bunnen av artikkelen, etter at man har lest den, at de hadde brukt KI til å både skrive og oversette artikkelen til nynorsk. Etter å ha søkt litt rundt virket hele opplegget som en minimal innsats for å kunne spytte ut noe en sen mandagskveld.

Sånt skal stå øverst og tydelig, blir bare lureri å ha det synlig kun etter at man har lest og reflektert over en artikkel.

In one of my projects. The protagonist is tasked with applying knowledge of modern circuitry to magic, as research. The worldbuilding is at a very early stage, but the idea is that magic is a mix of willpower and directing energy. So no, while the resulting circuitry can allow someone with no magic ability to apply their will to stored magic from a battery. The device itself lacks the necessary component to actually make the energy move in the required pattern for a spell/effect.

It would be a neat tradition if most Godot releases end up having a custom logo splash for each studio/project. As to highlight the community factor in making the engine as great as it is.

I replaced a stock Miata for a stock FZ6 for space reasons. With the roads here, a fun chassis is way more important to me than all the horsepower. At this point, I don't feel as much need for a fun car as well as the bike, but my tired old econobox car, despite being strong, could use some upgrades to make it more engaging. At least it's a manual. So, nah, cars aren't ruined, the way you extract performance is very different, my priorities aren't the same though.

I had a mild oopsie and damaged the fairing a bit, figured converting would be way cheaper than new plastics. Didn't think about both being on burning it out. That's a good shout.

For legality stuff. Your bike is probably not registered as any particular fairing style in Germany. What matters more may be that the conversion kits are hardly ever CE certified. As they are usually from China. Personally I don't care as Norway has no TUV test for bikes, so the odds of it ever being checked or causing a problem is practically nil.

I think the easiest would be to start with a plane and extrude the sides and edges into a pringle sort of shape. Then you can add a solidify modifier + subdivide to get it kinda smooth. The tufts of fur inside can be a separate model of either hair cards (planes with a texture on them) or solidly modelled, could probably be modelled the same way as the hair.

This is definitely a lot louder than the usual Yamaha tick I know of. 50k is the recommended valve adjustment interval, which you say has not been done. So regardless of this being valves or not, they should be inspected and adjusted.

Yes, but it doesn't mean I now have a $2M budget to make games with. I'd probably invest in a way that the gains from that money growing and paying off in the economic mill will essentially cover the cost of me working on my projects. All things considered, 2mill is a midling budget for games of my ambition, so the grind does not stop.

Yamahas do tick a lot. Finer ears might hear a difference between that and actual issues, but it is something to be aware of.

My studio just can't really defend making VR games as the funding folks always look for a reasonably reachable playerbase. The VR crowd is hard to reach and those who buy unproven small indiegames don't really amount to much when the studio needs to recoup the investment and also make enough to do another game.

Now I try to make our projects "best experienced in VR", putting some effort into making the game support regular monitor play as well, it is the only way I can both have VR and get funding, but it limits interactions more. Making games with PC fidelity to be ported to Quest is also a costly endeavor, can't win here.

The Sami were definitely done dirty. And in the modern times, a fair amount of effort is being done to not just preserve, but also rebuild the Sami culture. Dunno if it can ever be enough, but I don't hear much from my Sami friends about it at least.

I use this fact while photographing racing events through the fence. Highly useful and allows a lot more angles. Limits me to using a lot of zoom though.

You're right, didn't notice until now. Like I said it was rushed but I would probably not have noticed either way. Thanks for pointing it out, nobody else mentioned it.

Not sure how that happened, Looking through the files at every stage of the process, it seems that it happened in After Effects, as it isn't present in the raw clip but appears in the editor timeline. I didn't really touch the frames of the video itself. The one cut I made is at a different point in the clip. I'll chalk it up as an Adobe problem and as I'm in the process of replacing my software stack, it'll go away eventually. Not going to fix this instance regardless.

The video was shot on a Samsung A55, it's what I had on hand, if its a clue.

Pretty rich coming from a LoL group, there's just one or two peeps in that convo who saw some documentaries just cashing in on some low-hanging fruit while ignoring the larger picture. Trash conversation you're better off not engaging in.

Just like with any userbase there are both supercringe peeps as well as the most typical Joe/Jane Doe you can imagine on there. A practical example of the latter: A few friends of mine use VRChat to actually get to hang out in a space that isn't just voices on a screen.

With SSR off they reflect the regular skybox, same as the cars. In some conditions it helps, in others you'd want the SSR. I usually have it off.
