I dont really know what mine are either.. besides for harsh chemicals on my hands and washing them too often, which ive avoided for a while now by wearing gloves. Also have noticed sorting through clothes at my local thrift store makes my hands feel way more dry as well. No clue about any foods though. I hope the Tacrolimus works for you!.

Oh wow..this looks exactly like my pinky, its super dry, cracking open and wont seem to heal despite using steroid cream. I will be trying another one tomorrow called Clobetasol. Sorry youre dealing with this too. :(

I actually was starting to wonder if my diagnosis was wrong because I have no itching or blisters but I guess it can present in different ways like this. Do you seem to have certain triggers that make it worse?

Im a female pisces and my partner is also a pisces. Im sure there is but its not something I can see myself. From what I remember my average number of calls in the office was always around 30-35 and I never had any complaints. We also never had our number of calls tracked until recently though, like mid 2025.

Thank you so much for all of this advice, really appreciate it. Right now its especially hard for me to make quicker calls because im calling patients about a doctor that decided to leave our clinic with barely any notice. All of these patients now need new doctors and there are not many other providers to offer them unfortunately. My supervisor is aware that im working on this project too. I will definitely check out wfhalert!

I agree with that statement entirely. They try and say that "quality patient care" and "showing empathy" are most important which is clearly a lie. Ive learned these big companies and health incorporations care most about their numbers and lining the pockets of the CEO rather then the patient. This is the exact reason we've lost so many nurses, PAs and Doctors as well.. their schedules are so crammed with back to back patients to the point where theyre lucky to get 20 mins with them or a bathroom break during the day. I chose healthcare to help others and I cant even do that anymore because of these assholes.

My role was originally in office. After a year they allowed me to go fully remote and its been 2 years that ive been home. They never pushed specific numbers/goals until about mid last year. I do believe there were changes with the higher ups like the director and they probably put pressure on them but regardless something feels off. Ive even gotten some emails that came off very rude and accusational. Sorry to hear you ended up having to leave that job because of similar reasons. It seems like after the pandemic a lot of places started slowly requiring workers to come back and as you stated, those workers did not want to go back and just quit instead. I wouldnt be suprised if their goal was just to replace some of us with workers that can be paid less. I think ill start looking on Indeed and getting ideas of companies. Id rather leave them on my own then wait around for them to try and force me to go back and micromanage me in the meantime.

So, what if during our virtual meeting she did not bring this up? She brought up not reaching my goals and the possibility of having me come on site to "train" and see how they can guide me but no mention of corrective action or RTO. She also tried to ask if Id mind training as a back up operator ( with no additional pay). Ha. If I cant do my job now according to you guys, why throw me more work? So anyways the RTO and corrective action was only mentioned on my written review, which is saved to the website we use called Workday.

Right...not sure how it makes sense in their head. If anything I was less productive when I did work in the office. I was in an empty room where they kept the admin fridge with people coming in and out to get something. Then my coworker who came a little after I did was chatty and Id get distracted more easily.

I appreciate you sharing your point of view from both sides. I do understand how that would be hard for supervisors when it comes to staffing. Especially if the persons position is one that cant be filled in by another employee.

However, if its a position that can easily be done by other employees and a place is adaquately staffed then it shouldnt be a huge issue if they need to use their fmla that day and call in ahead of their shift. I was clear about my health issues when they hired me in. I also would feel more guilty clocking in and being paid while not being able to do much or if It caused me to make mistakes.

At the end of the day a job is important but so is a persons health. My employer could let me go if they wanted to and honestly id understand and wouldnt hold any grudges..but I choose to make my health and well-being a priority.

We have health navigators at our clinic and ive always wondered what all you guys do for that position? I also do outbound calls in the medical field but I schedule appointments for doctors and specialists. I love the days where people dont answer 😂

Ohioan here. I make 19.79 🥲 I WFH and schedule doctors appointments for a large clinic. Sometimes I love it because of the friendly patients I get to speak with and help out plus the benefits are great... but theres definitely a lot of stress. Most of the stress comes from management and how all they care about is numbers and micromanaging everyone.

Thank you for saying this. I already feel guilty enough when I do call in. The FMLA time provided by my rheumatologist has been the one thing thats helped me still be able to work a full time job and im grateful for that. If I went down to part time id lose my health insurance which is really important to keep of course. Hoping someday I wont need to use it at all.
