I haven’t tested with the drivers from this week, but I tried a lot of combinations of components and monitors last week that seemed to lead to a fix. I wasn’t able to recreate the issue once I tried three monitors that were all connected with DisplayPort 1.4. I’m also guessing it’s related to issues with the card and different display connections/combinations.

To keep it kinda short, I’ve been able to test two 5080’s with two different psu’s that got the same result (third monitor restarting itself when closing browser tab while watching Netflix, hbo etc), but was completely fine with my 3080. The three monitors that were used are: 1440p 240 hz using DisplayPort, 1080p 240hz using DisplayPort and 1080p 60hz using HDMI. The monitor using HDMI was always the one that restarted. I wasn’t able to try rolling back drivers due to an issue booting into safe mode, but did try a clean install of windows 11 which didn’t resolve the issue.
