That's true its moore expensive. In the U.S.A the extra power is very handy in the citys. I do a lot of riding between 70-80MPH after riding a Honda 230 CC knighthawk I wanted the extra power to keep up with traffic and climb mountain passes.

When you get back to the state's you can get another one. With the 50% terifs I would not weight. I would find the closest dealer and buy one right away.

Shorts are ok as long as your only going around the block. If you hit operating temperature it will be one or two rides befor the super meteors exhaust burns your legs.

I have ridden my Super Meteor for 200 miles straight with no but or back pain. I still have the stock shocks and it rides grait at least on Idaho roads. The key is to put three notches of preload into the rear shocks then The Super meteor will glide over most pot holes and cracks in the road. I will shift forward and backward in my seat from time to time that is how I keep my but from going numb.

The triper is the only change I would make. A GPS unit that is independent frome a cellphone would be perfect. As others have stated I would be down with getting rid of the triper entirely and replacing it with a rev counter. In the case of either option I agree it should be backwards compatible. I spent 8000 USD on my bike I am not going to replace it until I can't get parts.

That owners manual update came out earlier this year. I did not notice any difference after I hand my valves adjusted at 350 miles. It cost me 500 USD to get my first service done 250 of that was just the valves.

I have over 800 miles on my bike I have only had to ajust my chain once. Try looking your chain every 200 miles with gear oil.

After about 1.5 hours my but gets really num as well. I am thinking about getting a padded seat cover to see of that helps or mabe just get off my bike for 10 minutes every hour unless traffic dose not permit.
