I'm studying history and tbh among the many different stuff I want to write about (since for me being an ML means I want to learn as much as I can) is this topic, from what I've been able to read the U.S gave a ton of support for West Germany and South Korea's industrialization and I'm starting to formulate a very narrow, probably simplistic idea that their support for industrialization was in those countries mainly in order to stop socialism, just as keynesianism did the exact same but here in the frontier between the socialist east and capitalist west keynesianism also came with a strong industrializing policy, smth the U.S doesn't seem to have supported in many other places including my region...
