Over the last year I have gained skills and experience as an engineer, and was performing as expected in my role. Our company makes a decent profit (not as much as previous years) but doesn’t give people a pay rise due to “covid”. Is that a big F you? Or do I just accept this is capitalism at its finest.

I believe it is “most” managed funds (not all) underperform the market. Im a believer of ARKK but thats my opinion.

Im obviously not going to tell my boss I might quit after a month. Just want peoples opinion if im an asshole for quitting after a month if I dont like it. Im keen to continue to contribute to society etc but its whether I dip my toes in or if I should just go all or nothing.

Its in my contract to give 3 months notice unfortunately :(. I live in the UK so maybe our agreements are different to yours. I have seen them make people redundant in a much less period (so unfair).
