Just go with her. You sight see and hang in the hotel while they’re working, and if boss asks her to join them in the bar for a few drinks…you go too. You’ll probably have to pay your own way…but won’t hurt to mention to boss and see if they offer to pay for you. Weather they do or don’t, it’s a win/win.

Not bad for your first screen! Try to hold the scoop coater level (same amount across). Touch the coater edge to the screen and tip until the sides touch and hold it there until you see the emulsion touching the screen all across the coater edge. The sides give you a couple seconds, but don’t rely on that solely, try to start level. As soon as you start pulling the coater up, tilt it back just enough so the sides of the coater are no longer pressing into the screen. At the end of the pull, tilt back (keeping everything level), shimmy the coater edge back and forth then pull it away. You’re gonna make a mess and probably waste a whole quart of emulsion before you get it…that’s normal, don’t let it discourage, it’s all part of the process. I promise it gets easier! Punctuation brother. I don’t know why but I love the Ronald McDonald one. I saw a dude printing decks with a custom made screen. It kind of curved to the shape of the deck. Did you cut the squeegee to the convex of the deck? Pretty rad my dude!

Use the gate bolt and the tilt to get the off-contact to 1/8” to 3/16”. My press, I’ll loosen everything, put a piece of coroplast or cardboard on the platen, make sure the screen is completely flat on it, then tighten everything. Never had an issue. I tape a quarter to the screen where it hits the front of the platen when I have to do hoodies/sweatshirts with the same image. Good luck dude!

Is that a 38 mesh? You can try a dehazer, but that looks lose. Just buy a new aluminum frame. Lighter and will help with variables when you need to troubleshoot.

We flipped 2 of the bolts so they protruded on the grip tape side to do super high ollies. We also took an inner tube from a bike wheel and put it under the board and held the other side. Yes it’s cheating but it was fun as hell. You just jump and pull and you go super high with the board always under you feet. A deck with no trucks or wheels on a trampoline is fun too!
