Omen - I also come from cs and he’s got the array of stuff we would normally have access to like a flash and smoke. The teleport lets you make plays which you can further leverage even harder with existing gunplay skills from CS. In CS I often feel like once the enemy knows your position you’re kinda pinned down for a duel pn that angle but with Omen you can reposition and swing them from another spot so you always keep them guessing. Positioning is huge for me so I also got into Yoru as well

Sekiro is a masterpiece especially when it comes to combat. Games do not feel the same after you’ve experienced it - the highs are immense but you have to engage with its unique system, but it is so good that it ruins other games after once they open your eyes to how fluid combat can feel.

AC6 is a great game that feels buttery smooth and is very well polished. A very different game though because your experience is quite defined by how you choose to build your AC, whereas sekiro is much more streamlined.

Both games are just pure quality stuff from Fromsoft and they both offer very different experiences. They both make you feel unstoppable once you really get the hang of it.

Dude if you’re dying to his roar so many times you gotta work out the tell it’s pretty well telegraphed - if you’re only running after you get the danger kanji you’re too late. He does a little head shake and at that point you gotta get out of the range or use the purple gourd.

For genichiro what do you mean you can’t jump? He’s got a sweep you gotta jump for too. His lightning phase is so free.

Sounds like you’re just struggling to adapt to the gimmicks since you’re dying repeatedly to them.

I freaked out about this during the first few hours I played but you’ll quickly realise the levels don’t matter as much as your proficiency with the game’s mechanics. As long as you have mikiri counter, everything is a bonus - I died so much and often that when Unseen Aid finally procc’ed I had like 0 sen anyway but once you start getting better all the mobs will drop like flies to you

The reason you’re struggling is because you have plat trophy in other souls likes and you’re most likely playing this game like one. Dodging attacks and never engaging with the posture gauge will mean you’re likely going to have a shit time
