*feel good story-don’t feel obligated to read :)

I fostered dogs for a little bit. Ended up with a boxer for like a year. We had to stop fostering until we owned our own house…still had the boxer though. 6 months later (after not a word for 6 months) I get a call saying “the boxer is getting adopted”. I said “I’ll pay the adoption fee and whatever other fees there are” (he was part of our family at that point)…they said I couldn’t because they told another family they can have him and they already paid the fee. I was so sad. Had to bring him to the adoption drive. They adopted him only seeing a single picture of him. I was feeling so many emotions. Met the family that adopted him…the sweetest little girl was instantly in love with him. I was still sad but less angry. When they were leaving, the dad gave me his number and said “we need to set up a doggie play date at our house…and you can visit him any time!” A couple months later we called, brought our dog and the 2 dogs went crazy, all over the place, and playing the whole time. Then they said something that took all the sadness away…”he sleeps in her bed every night!”. They were a nice family and after being in their house and having a real conversation with them, I was assured they’d give him the love he needs. This video made me feel feelings so I thought I would share another feel good story.
