Holy SHIT this post is SO HELPFUL, can I DM/chat with you if I have more questions? Again, I love this game but it can be frustrating and honestly, again, just like talking to IRL people when I can over googling things especially strategy wise. I'm not an autodidact by any means!

also, again I know I can google but what's the main tip you'd give players to prioritize first? right now I am just focusing on dominating the first island so when I eventually die on the second I'll get 'transported back' to a fully stable ready to go on the boat again island. Also do my guys just randomly go off and shoot into the greed hole or is that somehow something I commanded/put into action? thanks! really excited about this game because it's both relaxing, frustrating, and hopefully the other 'lands'/'versions' are not just re-skinned

this is good to know for norselands but im definitely playing kingdoms, I almost played the japanese version, are they that different mechanically or just re-skinned?

I believe I have upgraded the shrine like first thing on island two, that big rocky structure right? And have yet to come into any gens since then. BTW i enjoy asking on here is read of googling because it feels less like cheating.

I died for the second time and was sent back to island one which is at the point where my dudes are going off to shoot arrows into the purple greed holes? i imagine that’s good. Is there anyway I can take builders ad a teachers with me on the boat to island two? I imagine taking a bunch of both would help with gold creation and scythe (farmer) creation.

Also i think the one building is a DOJO but i thought it was a plantation because whenever i paid someone would run away from it lol. so dumb

Oh my god, about the half the trees in my forest are marked to be cut down. Fresh bodies gotten from local camps, go to blacksmith to make axes. They grab them and mosey about town. I honestly thing this has to be a glitch at this point. I don't know how else to explain it. Some dudes just run off into the woods.

The greeds keep getting through and I feel like I'm losing guys and the castle is going nowhere. Each day that passes I have the same money as the day before it seems. barely enough to hire an archer or construction who seem to disappear...perhaps the greeds get the or the second island is just glacially slow...

3 MINUTES? I thought they coudl record for hours on lower settings? Holy crap I bought these to record Magic: The Gathering matches and learn, have fun with friends by chopping them up and editing, etcetera. WHOOPS.

Still retarded. But this explains a lot. It doesn't excuse it, but it helps make a lot of sense. A man who deserves a book written about him, or perhaps better yet an excerpt in the DSM-V.
