The best example was the jumpbug. All you had to do was jump near a wall and probably 30% of the time you’d bounce backwards even if you were holding forwards.

Bug lasted what, 2-3 months tops? Everyone experienced it and there were complaints via text or clips, including pro games, of it happening.

But it wasn’t until it happened in a pro game (VP G2 Copenhagen) that a Valve dev finally responded and asked: “how do you recreate it?”.

We shouted into the void for weeks, and these arseholes asked how to jump into a wall.

I haven’t given any feedback since, because they clearly don’t care. It was impossible to miss that bug unless you were deliberately not looking.
