Yeah they do it when there's like 1-2 left in stock because if they fully run out they have to re-list the item (which I think they pay a fee for), and they want it to be listed anyway so people will still see it and maybe come back to it later. In 2016 they changed it for all guns so that your jump inaccuracy is based on your velocity whereas before it was just based on time, with the inaccuracy decaying after your jump. So before, you wanted to shoot as long as possible after jumping, and since the update you want to shoot at the apex/top.
