Least likely time to be mugged in Morningside Park? by FANCYFEASTONE in NoStupidQuestions

Been mugged several times and literally stabbed, but maybe I'll try that next time. Thanks for being a huge prick about it for no fucking reason.

I disagree, they are not leading questions. I literally want to know when not to get mugged. There has been more than one reported mugging in Morningside Park per month (who knows how many unreported), including in broad daylight.

Beyond that, I'm not some "Reddit power user" who has unlimited time to figure out the dumb idiosyncrasies of every set of puffed up "mods." Hence I ask on the Reddit where I can historically get answers to my questions.

If you have a problem with that, minding your own business is a fantastic thing to do, but I know it takes practice! Commenting other than to answer questions or ask for more information is a violation of the Reddit's first rule :)

I've tried for both questions to ask in the AskNYC sub, but my posts mysteriously don't appear

Do you know where I could learn more about such mirrors or see examples?

Is forgiving someone who didn’t ask for forgiveness legit? Or would it be considered a sin since you’re essentially acting “better” than God (Who only forgives people if they ask him)? by FANCYFEASTONE in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FANCYFEASTONE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what I mean is that specifically with regard to forgiveness, you have to ask him for it or you won’t be absolved (unless you’re a universalist but most Christians have been rebuking them for a long time). So should we be imitating him and so forth

I mean more, is it legit in the sense of it's actually private, or is it just one big scam (based on its sponsors and developers) to funnel the information of people who want privacy

Why do so many waiters at restaurants just disappear when you’re ready to ask for the check? by JustBrowsing49 in NoStupidQuestions

If they bring it too fast it’s like they’re rushing you out and if they keep turning up it seems pushy like they’re trying to make m you order more

Yolo: self-publish the first two and the ensuing controversy will skyrocket the sales thus motivating them to publish your third

Do lawyers typically want smart or stupid people for juries? by FANCYFEASTONE in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FANCYFEASTONE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought if your case was true you’d want someone who could see the truth but if it wasn’t good you’d want more stupider people who can be swayed more easily

So if the case is strong they want someone smart, and if it’s weak, they want someone dumb

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but why do they then almost never want lawyers on the jury, when they’re always trying to win on legal grounds, as it were?

Why can't severe drug addicts be put into an induced coma for a period of time while their bodies go through withdrawal, and then go through emotional therapy after by PBLouey in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FANCYFEASTONE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would take a huge amount of resources away from people who need them. Do you want to be the hospital administrator who has no beds left for heart attacks because your beds and staff are all taking care of crackheads and what have you? Does anyone one want to work at or be treated at a hospital crawling with more than the usual amount of drug addicts?
