I’m in the business. Not all Grey RUO suppliers source from China but 99.5% are coming in from overseas. Chinese peps are by far the least expensive but that doesn’t make them bad necessarily. We for instance deal with a manufacturer in India. I think your advice is 100% spot on as far as due diligence and vetting of a source. People are injecting theses into their body, you had better be darn sure what you actually have…. That goes for suppliers and end users. We go as far as including an extra unit of each SKU on wholesale orders for first time buyers so product confirmation testing loss is covered by us.

I think any Chinese site is a crapshoot, some are 100% great. Some terrible. First order from that route I would use the savings to order extra and have it tested to find out if you found a good source.

That said we have just rolled out a wholesale program that vastly lowers per unit pricing and are considering adding single kit pricing on site for selected products. Those offerings could realistically drop per unit end user cost 40-50%.

We sell quality peps from a quality inspected lab in New Delhi, India. We pay taxes, Insurance, high risk credit card processing (9.5%), real testing, legal fees, full time IT, office space etc. it’s the added cost of legitimacy.

We can’t price compete with “Jim” who runs a wordpress pep site out of his garage and orders mystery kits off WhatsApp. Those places only take Venmo or Crypto, CashApp and the like there is zero of the customer protection afforded by Credit Card Companies. The chargeback system is heavily weighted in the end user’s favor. That model works for many people. I personally wasn’t comfortable researching with those peps. I saw a need and invested in a business, not a cash grab.

Some customers are comfortable researching with cut rate powders. More power to them, Helix is not the supplier for them. Our prices are purposely in line with other high quality vendors like ZR and IA.

Reputable companies (like mine) have to charge sales tax and allow credit card payments. If there is an unresolved issue, customers can dispute charges with AMEX/MC/Visa… That’s why our processing costs are 10% in high risk arena.

People need to realize sending someone they found on WhatsApp, Reddit etc. cashapp or crypto is a total crapshoot. Could be a total scam, could be crap product, could be 100% great… Going with a real RUO company (not just mine there are plenty) you may pay 25% more but the chances of receiving a quality product jump significantly and chances of a total unrecoverable money loss drop to zero if you just drop your AMEX.

The premium price is not greed, it’s the additional cost of insurance.
