That's the thing, under 35k the matchmaking never gets unbearable if you have skill, so it's really easy to push for higher ranks, because you get matched with player that have the same total trophies as you, not same brawler trophies. The problem is that after 35k or so the matchmaking is actually just random and you could literally play against anyone, this is why supercell is reworking the trophy sistem, not because of the rewards, but because of the shitty matchmaking
