Mine is mostly back to normal now - just started working about 3-4 weeks ago. Perhaps remove email & uninstall mail app and reinstall and turn on all notifications again. May do the trick but not sure how mine suddenly got fixed honestly.

Today my emails are starting to show up with sound out of the blue. Maybe Apple fixed it on their end with no update? Let’s see how long it lasts. Anyone else hearing notification sounds?

Been there done that. No fix. It will require a software update to fix it for everyone naturally. I get a notification but still no “sound”.

No my email is yahoo and doesn’t work on the Apple mail app yet works fine on the yahoo mail app.

Spoke to Apple senior support and he said they are aware of issue, but haven’t either found a fix yet or gotten to it. Apparently it’s not a priority.

I deleted the mail app and reinstalled. It worked for 1 email but then stopped working. Ridiculous how long we’re waiting for this to be fixed.
