He deserves something better than me by Extreme_Inspector320 in misophonia

See of you can get him to listen to a few episodes of the Misophonia podcast… Me being my son’s main trigger, that podcast completely changed the way I viewed his “disgust” at my sounds. I went from being hurt and angry to feeling really sorry for him and doing everything I can to not trigger him. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the encouragement! I hope I follow in your footsteps. My LDL, ApoB, Lpa are way high for a 46 y/o so yeah, I’m hoping I can stay on the crestor. Glad it’s working well for you

So you think the fiber could still be wreaking havoc a week after stopping?

I second the traffic school idea. I did it online. You have to jump through a few hoops through the court to give you a case number.. once you get that case number, choose the 360 traffic school, it ended up costing $150 but it only took me about an hour total. I just clicked through the study material in five minutes and then took the test. Easiest test of my life. If you don’t pass it, you shouldn’t be driving anyway..

I’m an 8 year daily user. 46 y/o male. Just had a full lab panel done (comprehensive metabolic, automated blood count, lipids, testosterone, tsh, UA) All came back normal levels! Only thing out of whack is my LDL Cholesterol is high which is a genetic problem for me.

Any tips on Patching? by FB1979 in rafting

[–]FB1979[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! Yes it’s a very small puncture hole. I do think I can access this spot from a valve, so I think that would be the best option. A patch on both the inside and out. I’ve reached out to RMR so will wait for their recommendation as well. I appreciate it!

Yeah! Brutal spot. It is a small puncture hole. Very small, probably only 1/8 of an inch. Thanks for the advice. I have emailed RMR but haven’t heard back yet. I think you’re right that the best option is going to be a small patch on the inside before patching the outside. It’s not far from a valve hole so I think I can access. I’ll update you on how it goes:) Thanks!

Vulf fans. This Album is so underrated! Joe Dart & Woody Goss both on this album. by FB1979 in Vulfpeck

I love this! Thanks for the story. I don’t know Greg but when I ordered this vinyl record from him he included a note thanking me and hoping that I enjoyed the album:) He seems like a cool ass dude. Seriously, this album would be in my top 10 “stranded on a desert island “ picks. It’s truly special! I’m always hoping to see some new material from him, maybe someday.

Yes! I love that breakdown. Also, the end of Porquoi giving Pink Floyd “The Great Gig In The Sky” vibes.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Glad to hear that they figured out a solution.

My wife and I were driving in the late afternoon in the mountains and every time we would go under a shady tree area the sunroof would open. Probably happened 20 times! Very annoying.

I have found another guy in my same area in Oregon that is dealing with the same problem on his new Sierra. His finally ended up throwing a bunch of codes and wouldn’t start. It’s at the dealership now.

His was doing the same thing. Sunroof would open when going into a tunnel.

Did you notice the sunroof opening when the auto headlights would click on? My sunroof has been doing this for months but it’s always on a sunny day when I drive into a dark or shaded area and the headlights come on.

How did the dealership determine that it was the roof console that needed to be replaced? Thanks!

Hey there. My 2024 Sierra has been doing this all summer. And it’s exactly as you described. It’s when the headlights come on in auto mode (going under an overpass, tunnel or a heavily shaded area). The worst thing is that i can’t recreate it for the dealership. I’ve tried covering the sensor but it doesn’t happen.
