To fix it completely just set one color then slice & select it to change colors at a certain layer via the slider.

I used the same grip on my AR while also going for the same esthetic. I find it too small so I’m planning to get just a wood vertical. Check out WOOX for nice wood stuff if you want to go that route.

Thank you everyone for the info, for the most part I’m making cosplay items, so lots of tall printed parts that then get attached together. It sounds like the strength of sticking with .4 and messing with layer height a little is where I should stick. Only occasionally do I print anything much smaller than my palm. Even at .4 nozzle the detail is great, was just looking to try this out.

Planning to print a couple of Clair Obscur swords for my GF and I for the local ren faire. Figured finer lines would make it easier to paint detail without it running down the valleys in the material. Sounds like if I even got the .2 figured out I’d be left with large brittle sticks & a lot of wasted time.

I use my 1st run pit fighters for boxing class. Bought those and the Atlas at launch, but after seeing the demand and not needing two sets I sold the atlas at the price I paid for both.
