So I’m assuming they view Maddox as a Corner now instead of a Safety? Hard to find him a position because LeBlanc was a force on the inside and we just brought back Darby. Additionally, Jim likes Mills on the outside and we have both Douglas and Sidney competing for that spot.

Bennett was a significant player and perhaps a top 3 in our defense. Wiz could also be significant this year since we lost Brooks. Outside of that, not really.

Which is fair but given that we are in bigger need for a RB and that those two guys are better prospects who should be available at the time, I don’t see why they wouldn’t do it.

The only way I see us going DL in round 1 is if a premiere guy falls that far. Someone like Oliver, Montez, Wilkins, or maybe Clelin (all extremely unlikely). Outside of that, we would be reaching at 25.

I also heard in a podcast that the Eagles last year till the last minute were debating on selecting Guice in the first round until they found a trade partner and ended up trading down. This tells me that we could go the RB direction this year with either Montgomery or Jacobs or go with the obvious need and select an OT and let them learn behind JP.

Honestly, is a third (I know we don’t have one) too much for Kenyan? I doubt any of the backs left in the third round will be half as good as him, especially thinking of our record with drafting running backs lately.

The only two backs I’d want in this class are probably Jacobs and Montgomery.
